BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine

BMW has launched the facelifted BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine in India with a starting price tag of Rs 57.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The locally manufactured sedan continues to be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options.A point to note here is that the 3 Series is now only available in the long-wheelbase M Sport trims, and the only standard wheelbase iteration is the recently launched M340i. It boasts a mildly revised exterior styling and a new cabin design with a curved 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen.

Features of BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine : Creature comforts on the inside comprise a curved display which includes integrated 12.3-inch digital instrument display and 14.9-inch infotainment screens, electrically adjustable front seats, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 16-speaker, 464-Watt Harman Kardon sound system, and a heads-up display. Its safety suite is made up of six airbags, parking assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and electronic parking brake with auto hold functionality.

BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Engine : The facelifted BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine gets two engine options: a 262PS/400Nm 2-litre petrol engine and a 193PS/400Nm 2-litre diesel engine. Both are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drivetrain. The former takes 6.2s to go from nought to 100kmph, while the diesel does the same in 7.6s. The standard-wheelbase range-topping M340i has a 3-litre petrol engine under the hood, belting out 379PS. No wonder it’s the quickest of the lot with a claimed 4.4s from 0-100kmph.

BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Rivals : The 3 Series Gran Limousine goes up against the Mercedes C-Class and Audi A4. The Bimmer being a long wheelbase model gives it an unique proposition in its segment as its rivals are offered only with a standard wheelbase.

BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Variants : The 3 Series is offered in two long-wheelbase variants: 330Li M Sport and 320Ld M Sport. You can spec the sedan in four metallic shades: Mineral White, Skyscraper grey, Carbon Black and Portimao Blue.
