You can have a look at Bajaj Platina Comfortec which delivers a class leading mileage of 104 Kmpl(Claimed). It puts out 7.9 PS/8.34 Nm which is quite descent for this segment. The Platina was supposed to bring in the numbers for Bajaj and Hero a fight. But, its bland styling (borrowed from the Wind 125) and basic cycle parts haven't helped its case.

Platina Comfortec delivers a claimed mileage of 104kmpl and performs well too but its old-school design makes one think twice. on the other hand, Stylish 100cc motorcycle from TVS Motors, the TVS Sport comes loaded with oodles of features and now has been tuned for more mileage, the company claiming 95kmpl from the new Star Sport. So, if you are looking for a commuter bike and concerned about mileage, Platina Comfortec would be a better pick but it you want a over all a nice package of performance, style and safety, you can go for TVS Sport as it come with TVS’ Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT), a first for any 100cc motorcycle. You can buy saluto 110.... as its pick up and mileage is the best as I heard its resale value is also high.... one negetive thing, this is costly comparatively.... another bike..... TVS sport and HF deluxe..... both are almost same.... if you are going to buy prefer HF deluxe

  • Q. Hi, I ride my TVS sports between 45-50kmph, mostly on good roads and bike is serviced regularly. still I am getting an average of 55-60. Claimed average is 95kmpl, why the average is low for me?

First of all depends how u are riding... if u hold the clutch and accelarate then u wont get the mileage. 2nd issue is correct air pressure and condition of air filter and spark plug. 3rd is the residue or dirt deposit in the tank and carburetor. 4th is the chain adjustment not proper. 5th is the quality of fuel you are putting on your bike and the engine oil you are using. check the above and if u are still not satisfied visit the authorised service center and report your problem.
