The TVS Jupiter 125 is powered by a new 124.8cc single-cylinder two-valve engine, producing 8.3PS at 6000rpm and 10.5Nm at 4500rpm. Comparatively, the 110cc TVS Jupiter makes 7.47PS and 8.4Nm, whereas the TVS NTorq 125 churns out 9.38PS and 10.5Nm.
Both the scooters are good in their forte. Not only is the Burgman better in terms of performance and fuel efficiency, but it also offers a more mature and relaxed ride experience thanks to its blend of seating position, refinement and rides quality. On the other hand, at first glance, the Jupiter 125 does everything you’d expect from a 125cc family scooter and some more. It’s got decent performance, handles well and it’s very comfortable too. But where it really stands out is with its comfort and convenience features, most of which are segment-leading, and almost make you wonder why no one else has implemented them before. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Go for Jupiter best mileage and maintenance is too less till now I have covered 12k kms with literally zero maintenance cost just I paid for the engine oil (560/-) for every 2500 kms which is quite usual for all of the bikes and scooters.
Selecting between the TVS Jupiter and Jupiter 125 would depend on certain factors such as your budget, preference of the segment, features required, etc. The Jupiter was and remains a fantastic alternative to the best-selling Honda Activa. It remains our pick as the best 110cc family scooter on sale. On the other hand, the Jupiter 125 does everything you’d expect from a 125cc family scooter, and some more. It’s got decent performance, handles well and it’s very comfortable too. But where it really stands out is with its comfort and convenience features, most of which are segment-leading, and almost make you wonder why no one else has implemented them before. Given that the Jupiter 125 comes better equipped at this price, we think it’s better value for money, and that might be enough to convince family-scooter buyers to give this newcomer a shot over its tried and tested competition. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
The 1st few lots didnt had but now they are equipped with kick. Buying a Jupiter 125 without kick, is waste of money as you would require it daily. The starter doesn't work regularly had to replace battery within 1 month of purchase.
I had checked with multiple dealerships in Bengaluru. Most of them said that even though it is an optional (paid) accessory, they don't have it. Same is true for the ladies (one sided riders) grab handle (not the footrest - that is present) and the kick starter pedal rubber grip. .The Trijal TVS dealership from where i bought mine had falsely promised over the phone that they have boot light and will arrange kick pedal grip (for extra charges of course), but declined at the time of delivery (saying sorry we don't have those)

No. I have checked with dealership in Pune and it costs Rs. 400/- for boot space light. TVS has just provided the provision to light but not the actual light.
Both the scooters are good in their forte. The TVS Jupiter 125’s USP is undoubtedly its features list, which not only adds value but also elevates the user experience -- a critical prerequisite for buyers in this segment. On the other hand, Activa 6G packs a very refined motor, finally gets a telescopic front fork. Overall, the Activa 6G offers a much smoother engine, better claimed fuel efficiency, as well as slightly improved handling and ride quality, ensuring that it fills the shoes of its predecessor rather well. All three scooters are good in their forte. At first glance, the Jupiter 125 does everything you’d expect from a 125cc family scooter and some more. It’s got decent performance, handles well and it’s very comfortable too. But where it really stands out is with its comfort and convenience features, most of which are segment-leading, and almost make you wonder why no one else has implemented them before. Given that the Jupiter 125 comes better equipped at this price, we think it’s better value for money, and that might be enough to convince family-scooter buyers. On the other hand, The Honda Activa 125 BS6 does everything the previous scooter did and builds on it. In terms of practicality, comfort and reliability, few come as close as the Activa 125. It might not be thrilling to ride but with an extensive feature list, the Activa 125 ticks all the boxes of a family-oriented 125cc scooter. Whereas, The Suzuki Access 125 BS6 has all the crucial updates to help it continue its streak of being the best-selling scooter in the 125cc segment. Sure it does have its own set of shortcomings but as an overall package, the Suzuki Access 125 BS6 is capable of holding its own in the competitive segment.
