BMW X7 Latest Updates

The facelifted BMW X7 has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 1.22 crore (ex-showroom). The update brings a revised exterior, updated powertrains, and more technology onboard the SUV. Order books for the X7, which now only comes in its M Sport guise, are open, and deliveries will begin in March.


Features of BMW X7 : BMW has equipped the SUV with the new curved display housing the 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It also gets a heads-up display, ambient lighting, climate control, panoramic sunroof, Harman Kardon 16-speaker sound system, and hands-free tailgate. The safety kit includes multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, and parking assist.

BMW X7 Engine : There are two engine options available: 3-litre six-cylinder petrol and diesel units, both paired to a 48-V mild-hybrid system packing a punch of 12PS and 200Nm under heavy load. The former produces 381PS and 520Nm, while the diesel has an output of 340PS and 700Nm. Both powertrains are all-wheel drive and are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

BMW X7 Rivals : The BMW X7 continues to fend off competition from the Mercedes-Benz GLS, Volvo XC90 and Audi Q8.
