  • Cannot understand your question
Q. I am bit confused between Apache RTR 180 and Hornet 2.0 which one should i go for can anyone share there reviews?
  • Selecting between the two would depend on certain factors such as budget, performance, preference of the brand, etc. TVS Apache RTR 180 gets a peppy engine 177.4cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine that makes 16.79PS of maximum power and the bike is a great handler too. However, the bike boasts an old design and with the BS6 updates the bike remain a fan FAVOURITE for the time being. On the other hand, Honda has unleashed its brand new Hornet 2.0 which is a performance-oriented naked bike with great styling and thriving mid-range performance. The 184cc single-cylinder air-cooled mill churns out 7.27PS at 8,500rpm and 16.1Nm at 6,000rpm. However, with its price tag, Hornet 2.0 locks its horns with the likes of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS200, Royal Enfield Bullet 350, etc. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of comfort and compatibility. You may click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read More: - All The Juicy Details Of The Honda Hornet 2.0 - [Do The Hornet 2.0’s Rivals Have What It Takes To Stir Its Nest?@https://www.zigwheels.com/news-features/news/honda-hornet-20-vs-tvs-apache-rtr-200-4v-vs-bajaj-pulsar-ns200-specification-comparison/39583/
  • Go for 180rtr has got oil cooling and better low end torque.Oil cooling helps for non stop touring. Hornet 2.0 is over priced and underpowered for a 185 cc Engine. Honda yamaha suzuki makes their engine smooth by reducing compression ratio and making it underpowered and sell it overpriced. Some Indians who has inferiority complex to buy Indian brands will fall for the japanese. Don't support this marketing gimmick of honda yamaha suzuki. Buy Indian brands brother. Why wasting your money to make the Japanese rich.
Q. Which is the best to buy TVS Apache RTR 180 or Honda CB Unicorn 150?
  • It would be unfair to give a verdict here as the Honda CB Unicorn 150 has been discontinued and it is not available for sale. On the other hand, TVS Apache RTR 180 is a fun-to-ride motorcycle with quick handling dynamics and a range of safety features. The razor-sharp handling makes it a hoot to ride and it is a value-for-money vehicle. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your city accordingly for dealership details.
  • Apache 180 is better...it's gives the mileage of 42-43kmpl.

It is a big big fraud company...Once

It is a big big fraud company.Once sold the cycle, They never respond to you. It's literally a hell to communicate them to get the required parts. With great difficulty i could get the damaged part in the local market. Please don't buy the cycle unless you want it for use and through purpose only.

Have used the cycle for about

Have used the cycle for about 3 months.Overall the sturdiness and ease of driving is good. But the km range is not true as advertised. Also the speedometer always shows higher (abount 20%) kmph reading which can be seen if you run a parallel vehicle and test it.So it shows more km run per charge whereas its actually less. One can expect with pedal assist fully on eco mode a range of about 60 km, On full throttle it will give approx 40 km range. This is for the top model, With 16ah battery. So overall the product is okay but range is very less then advertised.

    Hum motovolt

Hum motovolt is my 1st ev cycle. They promised 105km.But reality is 75 to 80km on full throttle.1st 60 no problem full pickup.Slowly pickup reduces.Everything is good about this ev cycle.Cheap and good.Suspension could be better. It's okayish. If you find a back suspension, Go for it.Indian roads are made for trucks and lorries not for cycles.Cons: company is selling defective bms cycles and argue that it's common. It's not common to not able to see how much charge left in battery.Atleast for an ev it's not common.Motovolt is selling defective products and they don't give compensation or repair it.They say it's common. If anyone knows that you cannot see percentage of battery left in ev cycle no one buy it.So they don't reveal it.

    My Real-World Experience

Having ridden the TVS Apache RTR 180 for a few months now, I found that it has robust performance and striking design. The bike's 177.4 cc engine delivering a power of 16 PS at 8500 rpm, provides a thrilling ride, specially suitable for quick city commutes and occasional highway sprints. The torque of 15.5 Nm at 7000 rpm also means that the bike has enough power to get moving quickly from a standstill.Handling is another area where the Apache RTR 180 shines, thanks to its responsive chassis and suspension setup.

TVS Apache RTR 180 gives great pickup and is known for the high responsive but gives vibration. It is a really awosme bike and the ride quality is very good and comes with the modern features and the mileage is around 35 to 40 kmpl. Those buyers who want more power and pickup with high performance this bike is perfect for that and for city rides it is a great bike but the brakes need more improvment. The riding positon of this bike is very comfortable and the engine is a great performer with well made suspension setup.

    Honest review

I bought apache rtr 180 with dual disk brakes in january 2016.Yesterday i sold the bike.I will write my honest review about the bike.First good things, Its speed and power. Before apache i had pulsar 180 but i must say apache is far better than pulsar in terms of speed & power.I also like the sound a lot.Ride quality is good. Now bad things.First of all is mileage. Its really depressing to get 30-35 kmpl when petrol is 90rs per litter. No matter how much servicing maintenance i did, It gave me 35kmpl only and for last one year i am getting 30kmpl.Be it in city or highway.Secondly rusting.Tvs should really look into this matter. There are rusts in so many under areas. No other bike gets rusty within 3 years.Thirdly the brakes & grip isn't something which gives you confidence at high speed.Once it skided on a completely dry road and i fell down.Luckily i was only at 50kmph so nothing serious happened. Thanks to helmet.Fourth : vibration. It really gets into your nerves after a year. You loose all confidence to go faster.Thats all guys.
