Passenger lit

It's a very practical car.Not too much of features just the ones that are necessary, Nothing too much extra.Performance is good, And the smart hybrid battery does the job of delivering extra power back to wheels when required.Handling is very good, A bit heavy steering but deliver the movement to the wheels very well when required.Body roll is very less. The body overall has a lower centre of gravity. This also makes steering the car joyful. The seats are comfortable.Cabin is well lit given the car interior has lights below which keep the foot area of driver and co passenger lit.I get a mileage of around 16-17kmpl in city and around 20 on highways. This is the result because i don't throttle too much and use the cruise mode quite often.

The Car Has Enough Power

The driving experience is very good, if not the best. The car has enough power and can reach 100+kmph speed with ease on highways. This is the best-built car from Maruti. It has many safety features. I have driven 60km on city and highway as well. It is a treat to drive this in any kind of road condition. It glides over bad roads. The brakes are amazing! I have 1-2 close calls and had to panic brake, The car performed supremely well and stopped without any fuss. Kudos to Maruti. Best things: drive quality is very good, if not the best very spacious insides out. The rear seat space and the boot space are more than enough. 180 mm ground clearance is perfect for all kinds of road conditions, mid-range and high range are pretty good for spirited driving on empty stretches of road (when it is safe to drive fast). All-around visibility is good from the driving seat and no real blind spots anywhere. Legroom, Headroom, Knee room, and shoulder room are all excellent. The music setup is decent and I have not felt the need to replace the speakers yet. Android Auto works like a charm, rear seat drive quality is excellent. Anyone who has travelled with me in the rear seat has appreciated the drive quality, Especially on bad roads and long-distance drives. Cruise control works really well. I have used the feature many times on long stretches of highways. Fuel efficiency is outstanding! Interior quality could have been a bit more premium, although not a deal breaker. The touch screen and the overall setup could have been bigger and better. In terms of screen size and features, rear AC vents missing, even in the top-end variant. Turbo lag in lower RPM range can be irritating in bumper-to-bumper traffic, some nice to-have features are missing at 11+ lakhs price point such as rear ac vents, sunroof (must for a such a big spacious car), hill hold control, At least 4 airbags, engine noise at higher RPM. Could have been more controlled. Major issue: the coolant valve had failed at around 20, 000km in the middle of a highway and the coolant had started leaking on the road. However, That turned out to be an issue with almost all S-Cross sold in the 2015 batch. Build quality: I once banged a Tata Vista from behind because the driver panicked braked and stopped at 70kmph speed on a busy road. I had no time to stop at a safe distance. There was a big thud sound. However, there was literally no damage to the S-Cross, except a minor dent on the front bumper and one small scratch.

Best is premium crossover

A car like comfort and bit suv like feel. A very premium vehicle from maruti with simple yet useful features. Very spacious with good legroom and an honest price. On highways it's very stable even at high speeds, All 4 wheels disc brakes makes it easy to control. Best is premium crossover at very low maintenance cost, About to complete 3 years 40k km done. Few improvement areas like, Music system could have been better, Ac vent at back, The usb port inside the armrest is difficult to understand. Cool box again a miss. Stop button at one push could have been better. At times during overtaking you feel power is less. But while driving you feel safe at high speeds on highways due to its design. On highways it gives 24 plus kmpl and in city around 19 kmpl overall in one line it's value for money.
