When thinking about grand vitara it is a family car and you shouldn't expect a lot of performance from it.The engine is a 1.5 l four cylinder engine producing around 100 horsepower you shouldn't be expecting thrilling acceleration from this car also the car is very bouncy and bumpy on higher speeds basically it is a bit unstable on higher speeds it could be because of the weight cutting however its weight around 1250kg makes the mileage really good and on the top the variant which i have is a mild hybrid which results in the mileage to be around 20 kmpl, The car contains most of the luxurious car experience and features the build quality is good but not comparable to brands like tata however it is done so that the vehicle is lighter also the car comes with a great road presence and people usually wonder what car is it and it stands out in public.Overall i would say if you want a car for a family that is semi suv i think this would be the right choice for you.

Please don’t buy maruti suzuki grand vitara!!!!!! hi everyone.My car reg no: tn10bv5144i bought a new maruti suzuki grand vitara worth 13.5 lakhs from maruti popular showroom, Virugambakkam, Chennai just 2 months ago.The car broke down on the middle of the road as the new cars engine was seized.Just imagine a maruti suzuki new grand vitara’s engine getting seized in 2 months.Coming to their service, Popular showroom and service center’s in virugambakkam, Chennai are frauds, Cheaters, And a guy named vinod there is a horrible sales person.These people even refused to attend my problem.Abt service center who took my car 3 hours after the car broke down are still not able to find as to what exactly is the problem with the new car.My new maruti grand vitara is lying in the service station for 8 days now with valuables worth 3 lakh inside.All my work, Routine got terribly affected due to this trauma…never ever buy maruti cars!!!!!!vijay babu984****808.

Maruti apni aadato se baaz nahi aayega.Bhaut si baate hain jo maruti se me bahaut disappointed hu.Grandvitara lene k lie agar koi 18-20 lakh rupe kharch karta hai.To usko atleast achha saman diya jana chaiye.Gadi me maruti 800 jaisi chaabi di hui hai.Sunroof ka cover.Bahaut halka.Dhooop bhi andar aati hai.Gadi k sath atleast key ring to deni hi chaiye.Document rakhne k folder k paise tak bacha liye.Gadi ya accessories.Kisi pe 1 rupe kam nahi karte.Aur service booklet tak k inhone paise bacha liye.Swift jaisa lockset.Wahi wagonr jaisi lock you lock ki awaaz.Are bhai.Rate to maruti ne upgrade kar lia.Apni aadate bhi upgrade karlo.Customer se achhe paise le rahe ho to achha saman bhi to do.Kuch to change karo.Ye choti choti cheeze se 5000-6000 ka faraz padega.Wo bhi lelo.Kam se kam usko kuch achha to do.Hame nahi lena intelligent hybrid model.Leni uske features smart hybrid me to do.Mene smart hybrid me top model lia hai.Alpha model.Use baad bhi kaafi features nahi mile.Bilkul bhi satisfied nahi hu me.Bekaar hai sab.Excitement hi khatam ho g*i gadi chalaane ki.

I have evaluated same category suvs.Finally concluded on the grand vitara for a smooth and comfortable noise free ride with mild hybrid technology giving me 13-14kmpl and a 4-star gncap rating.Vehicle is comfortable for a broad built 5 feet 10 inch guy like me.Engine is smooth and refined, Very silent.Interior design and quality is par for the segment.Weaknesses include lazy engine due to short gearing benefiting fuel efficiency and emissions (don't compare this car with this specific engine to its turbo petrol rivals), Could have a larger boot, And more importantly, A better insulation level for nvh - apollo apterra cross provides minimal tyre/road noise but outside noise levels in city traffic is slightly bothering.In this area, The korean duos, Seltos and creta do better cabin insulation.Gv is not bad but not the best either, Could be better in this aspect.Overall, A very comfortable family oriented vehicle.

I have been driving a Grand Vitara Alpha with a manual transmission for more than a year now. From stylish1looks to comfort everything is top-notch. Reasons for opting for GV over its rivals:1. Sporty design especially the rear look is best among all its rivals. 2. Comfort, I drive it daily with a1co-passenger and find comfort and I drive with ease. 3. Mileage, don't need to say much as Maruti Suzuki is1known for mileage. Having a car in this range and then able to get mileage in 18plus is something amazing and worth mentioning. 4. Amazing ride quality, be it plain roads or Hilly roads1ride quality in GV always feels amazing. 5. Pick up, many rivals of GV supposedly create more hp or torque but1when it comes to it I beat them all in pick up and drag race. 6. Sunroof7. Premium, at the price range this1absolutely is premium. One thing I would have loved to be in my GV is 6th gear.

The car is really great and i'm driving this car since last year. We feel much comfortable in this car.

Maruti Grand Vitara car chalane ka experience mere liye kaafi comfortable aur premium raha hai. Ye car dekhne1me bhi stylish lagti hai aur road par ek strong presence banati hai. Iska design modern hai aur front look1bahut attractive hai. Jab maine pehli baar is car ko drive kiya to mujhe iska steering control bahut smooth1laga. City ke traffic me bhi car easily handle ho jati hai aur turning me bhi koi problem nahi hoti.

I consider this car as a proper family car , because as a 5 sitter car this car has very comfortable seats with large space, driver seat is also comfortable, I have a manual model of this car and fair shifting is too soft an easy, easy handling, stability is too good , look is also extremely good , boot space is good, but when you have a cng model then the space is a little bit small due to presence or cylinder , but the over all1car is good , music system is quite good , and extra features like welcome message, auto temperature control, Speed alarm, easy to connect, loud and clear voice of speakers is too good , looking like a mini suv ,aggressive head light, joint tail light, mileage is also good and comfortable car overall a good family and a long route car.

Purchased gv top version 5 months back.Sad to see that the headlights are very very poor.The placement itself is wrong.It makes driving in the night dangerous and unsafe.This is a biggest design flaw in garand vitara.Hope they bring some changes.I request the car owners to raise the issue at the service center and open a job card for our complaint.

Major issue with gps navigation when connected to carplay.Route keeps fluctuating, Pointer moves in opposite direction, Gets confused with directions.System takes time to connect via bluetooth.Issue raised with team for 3+ months and still not resolved.Company refuses to give a replacement car also.

I gave my car to a service centre for free 2nd service in work shop they damaged my car n its not resolved yet its almost 5 months very bad experience car is noisy in cabin mileage drop to 14

As for my 3 years of experience grand vitara offers a balanced driving experience with smooth comfort and agility.Specially its responsive steering and smooth suspension make easy through city rides and navigating off road terrain effortless.The mileage is decent making it practical choice for daily commutes and longer journeys.And the pickup is commendable, Swiftly accelerating when needed, Thanks to its capable engine.Service costs for the grand vitara are reasonable according to me the engine performance is reliable but the build quality is not that up to mark comparing to the premium suvs and there is few plastic components in the interior.But overall i think grand vitara is great and offers a sturdy platform for both on road and off road rides, You can go for this car!.
