  • The Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spotted again, this time in an all-black paint scheme.

  • The shade is similar to the Stealth Black colour of the current-gen Classic 350.

  • Misses out on the Tripper pod.

  • (Update: The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been launched in India. Head here to read the launch story.)

The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spotted undisguised yet again, this time in a YouTube video. You can see the upcoming motorcycle in a matte black paint similar to the Stealth Black colour of the current-gen Classic 350

The colour scheme is essentially the same in 2021, and the bike seems to have retained its red pinstripes on the tank and alloy wheels along with the ‘Classic 350’ logo in red on the side panels.

The matte black extends to the mechanicals too. The engine, exhaust, suspension sleeves, handlebar, and clutch and brake levers are all black, lending the Classic a premium feel.

Overall, the design of the new Classic 350 is pretty similar to the current model, courtesy of the round halogen headlamp, circular taillight, and indicators, all of which seem unchanged. The only addition here is the new chrome headlight nacelle.

The video also gives us a glimpse of the new Meteor 350-inspired switchgear. However, the Tripper pod is missing here yet again, which means it could be offered as an option as part of RE’s ‘Make-it-Yours’ initiative.

Another change we can spot is the reworked fender, which gets two tubular supports instead of just one in the current model. This could help cut out vibrations for the one riding pillion.

As revealed in earlier sightings, the new Classic 350 gets revised seats with seemingly better cushioning and a tweaked design for increased comfort. The old-school spring design is missing here, though.

However, all these changes aside, the most significant change for 2021 will be the Classic’s new motor. It will be the same 349cc single-cylinder motor from the Meteor 350, producing about 20PS and 27Nm.

We expect Royal Enfield to launch the motorcycle pretty soon, probably by the end of this month. It will likely retail at a premium of around Rs 6,000 to 9,000. For reference, the current Classic 350 prices range from Rs 1.79 lakh to Rs 2.06 lakh.
