Voge has launched quite a few new two-wheelers this year and the latest one to join the ranks is the 300 ACX. This Chinese scrambler is based on the existing Voge 300 AC neo-retro but has been tweaked to be more off-road friendly.

The neo-retro design remains unaltered. It gets the same round LED headlight, but with a small smoked windshield surrounding it. While the 300 AC gets a stubby rear fender, the 300 ACX comes with a new tail-mounted unit.

The LCD instrument console and the USB charging port remain standard for the new 300 ACX scrambler. The split seat has made way for a single-piece unit, despite which the saddle height remains unchanged.

It’s powered by the 300 AC-sourced 293cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor mated to a 6-speed gearbox, and belts out a claimed 26.3PS and 23.3Nm. For reference, the BMW G 310 R’s 313cc motor makes 34PS and 28Nm.

The Voge 300 ACX is sprung on a USD fork and monoshock setup while the braking hardware consists of dual front discs (quite typical of Chinese manufacturers) and a single rear disc with dual-channel ABS as standard. Owing to its off-road friendly nature, the bike runs on 17-inch spoked wheels wrapped in block-pattern tyres.
In Europe, the Voge 300 ACX costs the equivalent of about Rs 3.66 lakh. Besides, the probability of Voge entering India is bleak. But if you have a similar budget, you can opt for the KTM 390 Adventure and still have some moolah left over for accessories.
