Upcoming Pulsar 150 reaches dealerships ahead of official launch
Spy shots suggest that it gets a new frame, rear monoshock, engine and console
Official launch expected in the coming days
The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been spotted at a dealership ahead of its official launch. The updated motorcycle appears to be much more than a routine facelift, as it gets a fresh design inspired similar as seen on the recently spotted Pulsar 125. It is also expected to get a new frame, rear monoshock, an all-new instrument console and what appears to be a newly developed engine. Here’s everything we know so far.
The new Bajaj Pulsar 150 gets completely redesigned bodywork while retaining the signature Pulsar silhouette. Its overall design features a sharp triangular LED headlight with aggressive-looking DRLs that give the bike a much more modern appearance.
The fuel tank remains large and muscular, complemented by neatly designed tank extensions that enhance its sporty look. At the rear, the tail section is slimmer and cleaner, with a new split LED tail light. Overall, the motorcycle looks fresher while maintaining its familiar Pulsar identity.

One of the biggest updates is the all-new frame. The motorcycle continues to use a conventional telescopic fork at the front but now gets a more modern rear monoshock, which is also expected to offer preload adjustability.
It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres. Braking duties are handled by a front disc and rear drum brake. The bike is also expected to get a single channel ABS, as an ABS warning light can be seen on the instrument console.
The spy images suggest that the updated Pulsar 150 gets a newly developed engine as the bike can be seen with an oil-cooler. The redesigned engine covers, different exhaust header routing and a completely new exhaust muffler point towards a completely fresh motor. While Bajaj has not revealed any specifications yet, the new engine is expected to deliver improved refinement, better performance and good fuel efficiency.

Another major upgrade is the all-new colour LCD instrument console. It is expected to offer Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, SMS and call alerts, making it significantly more feature-rich than the current model.
This upcoming Pulsar update is expected to be officially launched in a few days . Once launched, the updated Bajaj Pulsar 150 will rival the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V, Honda Unicorn and Hero Xtreme 160R. With the extensive design and feature upgrades, the motorcycle is expected to command a slight premium over the current model and could be priced at around Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
