Quick News Highlights:
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6, the first production Royal Enfield electric bike, has finally been unveiled in Milan, Italy. The Flying Flea has been launched under the brand’s EV arm, named Royal Enfield Flying Flea. The 'Flying Flea’ name is a tribute to the original Flying Flea bike from World War 2 that was used by British paratroopers and soldiers. Being a compact and foldable bike, the army helicopter used to drop it using a parachute in a case, which the soldiers unfolded in just a few seconds and it used to become a fully functional small bike.
With the new Flying Flea C6, Royal Enfield adds another retro roadster to its line-up. However, this one’s special, not only because it is electric but also because it looks unique, unlike any other bike in the market.

At the front, it has a round LED headlight along with round indicators. It gets a teardrop-shaped slim “tank” and a scooped single-piece seat, the rear seat can be mounted (similar to the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650). The bike also has cooling fins on the battery pack which is placed just below the tank. At the rear, it gets a clean look with a braced rear fender and a fender-mounted tail light and indicators. The rear number plate holder is also likely to be mounted on the fender.
The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 features a round TFT instrument console, similar to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 but with a different theme and layout. It would display basic information like the speedometer, odometer, tripmeter, battery percentage, range and more. The console is also likely to have smartphone connectivity. The new Flying Flea S6 also gets a lean-sensitive ABS and cruise control.

The suspension setup on the Flying Flea C6 includes a girder fork and a monoshock at the rear. The braking setup consists of disc brakes on both ends, likely to be equipped with dual-channel ABS. It has 19-inch alloy wheels, wrapped with tubeless Ceat tyres – the front is a 90-section tyre.
However, the Flying Flea S6 electric scrambler gets an enduro-inspired long single-piece seat, an inverted fork at the front, 60 percent more suspension travel, aluminium spoke wheels and is likely to have a smaller rear tyre.

With the new Flying Flea electric sub-brand and the latest electric bike concepts, Royal Enfield is embracing the future of electrification. The new electric bikes from the brand will open more doors for the brand and offer a wider range of bikes to choose from to the customers. The all-new Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 is likely to be launched in the Indian market sometime around mid-2026. We will be waiting to bring you more details on the bike when Royal Enfield releases the spec sheet.
