Royal Enfield has launched its first electric bike, the Flying Flea C6; it’s also the lightest bike from the brand. It’s a lifestyle-oriented retro-styled bike with a lot of features. If you are keen on bringing one, here’s what you need to know:

The Flying Flea is only available in Bengaluru as of now, and will be available in other cities later. It can be booked online or at the exclusive Flying Flea store for Rs 10,000. According to the brand, the deliveries are set to begin at the end of May 2026.

The Flying Flea C6 is feature-loaded. Its list of convenience features include a touch-enabled circular TFT console with Google Maps mirroring, completely keyless ignition, forward and reverse park assist, a wireless phone charger and a USB-C port. The bike has smart navigation, which analyses the bike’s battery charge and suggests charging points on the selected route. It also has five ride modes – Eco, Rain, Highway, Sport, and Custom. In custom mode, the user can customise throttle response, ABS, and traction control. The rider footpegs can be placed in either of the two positions – centre for more upright riding and forward for more relaxed, cruiser-like ergonomics.

In terms of safety, it has lean-sensitive dual-channel ABS, which is switchable, and traction control. Additionally, it gets coasting and braking regeneration, theft alert, geofencing and an SOS feature.
The Flea’s motor makes 15.4kW and 60Nm, and drives the rear wheel using a belt. It has a claimed top speed of 115km and accelerates from 0 to 60kmph in 3.7 seconds (claimed).
The bike is powered by a 3.91kWh battery pack, and comes with an on-board charger with a 16amp plug. It takes 2 hours 16 minutes to charge completely from a 16amp wall socket. The Flea has a claimed IDC range of 145km which should result in a real-world range of about 100-110km.

The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 doesn't have any natural rivals, but the Ultraviolette X-47 Crossover comes the closest. The latter offers more range than the Royal Enfield.

After reviewing the Flying Flea, it has left a positive impression. It has good build quality, the features are extensive, and the riding experience is good. At its price, it’s not meant to be a mass-market bike, rather meant for premium customers. It’s more of an indulgence than a utility. If you can spend and justify for yourself the money it commands, the Flea won’t disappoint.
