Royal Enfield Flying Flea Motototem is an art bike developed in collaboration with an Italian artist
It’s been at the 2025 Salone de Mobile show held in Milan, Italy
The bike gets components made up of stone, leather and blown glass
Royal Enfield in collaboration with an Italian artist named Mattia Biagi have showcased a one-off art bike called the Motototem. It is based on the yet-to-be-launched Flying Flea C6 electric bike, but gets components which are made up of travertine marble, stone, leather, bronze and other elements. Royal Enfield says the bike is a symbol of the connection between nature, history and human connection.

The Motototem gets a blown glass headlight and taillight, and has a design which is similar to a honeycomb. That said, as beautiful as it looks, it is not for a person who has trypophobia (you might regret it if you google). The front and rear fenders are made from clear resin, which also incorporates leaves, giving the bike a rustic look, while the seat is made from walnut wood. The tank is made from travertine. It is a type of limestone which has vertical lines similar to a parachute’s ropes, thus paying homage to Royal Enfield’s WW2 Flying Flea motorcycle. The artist has paid great attention to detail, as the handlebars and footpegs are made from bronze and carry Mattia Biagi’s prints. It also gets knobby tyres, symbolising the spirit of adventure. You will also see the fork covered by a flower-shaped ceramic cover, which adds a touch of elegance to this one-of-a-kind artpiece.

While the artist has made significant changes to the motorcycle, the core remains unchanged. It gets a forged aluminium frame, magnesium battery pack cover, a girder fork and a monoshock. As unique as the bike looks, it gets the same TFT display and other features as the concept bike.
The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Motototem looks unlike any other custom motorcycle in this world. The use of natural materials adds a touch of nature, and it really goes well with the go-green theme (and purpose) of the Flying Flea.

As for those who are wondering when they can get their hands on the production bike, Royal Enfield has revealed that it will launch the Flying Flea C6 in India in the first quarter of 2026. The manufacturer still has a year to study the market and make necessary changes to the motorcycle to cater to the audience’s requirements. That said, the Flying Flea will not be affordable by any means. It’s meant to be a premium urban commuter with a unique vintage-themed styling.
