  • Q. How it's performance - Celerio?

I personally owned a Celerio since 6 month. After driving for 6 month my thinking have changed about Celerio. It is a good 'city car' not for highways. After sometime you feel that car's power is not adequate.I have tested it on hilly roads. Its transmission gets too hot whenever you climb hill.I got warning light as well. And also in city you have to pick car in higher acceleration. If you want petrol only than go for wagonr or else my suggestion would be to increase budget and go for dzire.Try not to buy hatchback I have experienced it it hell lot of dirt at the back.you have to clean it daily.

Maruti Celerio is a good entry level Hatchback car. However, if you're eyeing on Celerio then we would suggest you have a look on Maruti Celerio X as it is reliable, isn’t expensive to maintain and fulfils your need of a hatke looking hatch. Coming to another query, Maruti Celerio comes mated with AMT in its 4 variants - Celerio AMT VXI, Celerio AMT VXI Optional, Celerio AMT ZXI, Celerio AMT ZXI Optional.

  • Q. Sir, what about Celerio, Is it a nice car?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 1 year ago

The Celerio X is a neutral car. It will go about its work in a manner that will ensure peace of mind. Couple that with Maruti’s fantastic service support network, and you have a near perfect ownership experience. Like most Marutis, the suspension is on the softer side in the Celerio X. This lets it absorb the bumps and undulations on the road fairly easily. However, drive over the bigger and badder potholes, and the thuds will be transferred to the cabin. The steering is nice and light and weighs up well as the speeds progress. High speed stability is confidence inspiring upto 120km/h, post which the car will feel twitchy. Yes, you can go for Celerio X. Talking about its service cost, the total estimated maintenance cost for 10 years is Rs. 33,695 (approx.). Though, the actual service cost will be shared by the dealership. If you want something striking to look at, is reliable, isn’t expensive to maintain and fulfills your need of a hatke looking hatch, the CelerioX checks all those boxes. And if you like a florescent colour too, remember, no other car in its segment has that loud orange shade on offer.

  • Q. How is Maruti Celerio automatic car?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 10 months ago

The Celerio is equipped with an automated manual transmission. There are just two pedals, and the operation is like a conventional automatic vehicle. Slot the gear lever in ‘Drive’ (D), let go of the brakes and the car creeps forward. The operation of the clutch, is controlled by a hydraulic actuator - thereby relieving your left leg. The AMT on the litte Maruti isn’t the most polished units around; there are slight jerks when the car upshifts or downshifts. That said, they can be easily overlooked during daily commutes. You can also take charge of the gears yourself by shifting it into manual (M) mode. Like most Marutis, the suspension is on the softer side in the Celerio. Yes definitely. I am a resident of Pune and I travel frequently to Mumbai. It gives a great mileage and runs smoothly even at 120kmph or above. I never faced any problem driving it be it city or the highways.

Since 4 years have not experienced major problems. It's lighter so has weak build up. Even at start you feel jerks especially while reversing. Cabin noise and poor overall build up.

  • Q. Is Celerio suitable for North East hilly regions?

Well it certainly depends how how steep we are talking I have seen people take Suzuki estilo on the ghats of ooty with 4 passengers including driver, so yes celerio can but sometimes it depends on the weight your carrying, because let's be honest 86 hp and 90nm of Torque isn't really all that much

It is difficult to say whether Celerio, Tiago are safe in hilly region drive. Ideal for hilly region is a four wheel driven car. I don't think any company manufacture four wheel driven small car in India. Celerio, Tiago are front wheel driven.-

  • Q. How is the Celerio auto vxi?

The petrol option on the Celerio X features a slightly altered K10B motor that also does duty under the bonnet of the WagonR. This 3-cylinder, 998cc engine comes mated to either a 5-speed manual. The light clutch and the rev-happy motor is an amazing combo for city commutes. The power delivery is linear and there is enough low-end grunt to pull cleanly in one gear higher. However, the engine does get very vocal at high revs where the power tapers off very quickly. With fully occupied, it might lag a little at high speed over taking but it will do the job. It delivers a claimed mileage of 23.1kmpl. Actual mileage can be different according to the riding style and road conditions.
