It's good an autogear shift(ags).better than amt...but inferior to CVT.. or dsg petrol in a polo which is a dual clutch...celerio price is not that low..you can short list polo tsi automatic..and nexon automatic...even era of i20 petrol...I suggest police tsi dsg 7 speed petrol

U see automatic car is ok mean no cluch and it will take pick up not as u like...and if any work in gearbox then it's bill you little high..I will prefer manual
Yes you can swap manual transmission with automatic transmission which is AMT gearbox but will definitely cost you about 50k rupees to nearly or even over 1 lac rupees though swapping transmission in a car wont bring any complications to the car but in india there are very few qualified personnel who can do this job with perfection

I am not giving advice to change,it will coat you and I think manual is simply best,
I suggest you get it checked from the authorized Maruti service center. Since there might be an issue with your gearbox and if not treated early this might cost you a lot later, in getting this replaced.
Celerio has never given problems in slopes or hilly drives. I have been using my Celerio AMT for past 5 years and really enjoying the drives whether its plain highways or ghats. In fact I found Celerio AMT more convenient for ramps and slopes because there's no manual clutch/manual gears to handle.
