I had purchased Verna in 2019.Till now i had driven my car for 25k + kms and not faced any problem. The mileage which it gives on highway with ac is great according to engine capacity which is 1600 cc. It's very comfortable car for long drives.

  • Best mileage look is so good

    Loses steam

I bought verna top spec petrol sxo ivt, I have crossed 5000 km and here are my experience pros - 1.Smooth ride, No cabin noise 2.Loaded with all fearures for the segment, Probably better than its rival.3.Comfort of seats 4.Ventilated front seats is really a boon trust me, I use it always 5.Powerful ac 6.Premium exterior looks, I got phantom black and beleave me people really do appreciate the car and its looks.7.Shiny diamond cut alloy wheels for this spec really looks dashing, This alloy looks better than city and other rivals 8.Power, Engine never loses steam and gives you good power and ride stability along all speeds. Its an cvt gearbox still power generation is superb.Mileage - i get 18 to 20 on highways without ac, In city traffic its between 12 to 14, So average for a trip is 15 to 16.Cons - though none but few aspects which may not be the best are 1.Rear space - now it has same wheel base like its rival city and other sedans so practically it has same space inside car, But real legroom looks slight less but i did a test drive with my family and im 5.6 so we all were very comfortable, Seat base and height is bigger, So its qute relaxing for us at rear but for huge passengers better testdrive.2.Not a negative point but some features arent much of a use like wireless charger, Not many mobile in india has this facility and the charger is small, Mobiles more than 6 inch wont fit in.3.Hyundai should have given more to verna, Like hyundai is pampering its lower segment car like i20 and venue with very great feature which verna dosent has like air purifier, Ambient lighting, 10.2 inch touchsceen etc. These features would have surely made it a tough rival for city.4.Price - top spec petrol in 16.6 lakhs onroad in my town, Where as top spec city petrol is 17 lakh, So not much of a difference, Should have been atleast a lakh less.

Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Verna

Q. Which is better Hyundai Verna or Honda City?
  • Selecting the right car would depend on several factors such as your budget preference on the segment, features required, cabin space, engine options, brand preference, etc. The right balance of quality, comfort, and features make Verna a tempting package. With the facelift, that essence hasn't changed. And, except for a cramped rear seat, there still isn’t much to dislike about it either. On the other hand, the 2020 City improves significantly on all its faults and some of its strengths too. It does skimp out on some wow features and is still one of the priciest options in the segment. But it continues to be a well-balanced sedan and a chauffeur-driven owner's delight. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your city accordingly for dealership details.
Q. Is this car available in Verna SX petrol csd?
  • The exact information regarding the CSD prices of the car can be only available at the authorized dealerships. We would suggest you to visit the nearest authorized dealership for further information. Click on the given link and select your city accordingly for dealership details.
Q. Hyundai Verna or Maruti Ciaz or Honda City, which is good ? Also advice Petrol good or Diesel?
  • Selecting the right car would depend on several factors such as your budget preference on the segment, features required, cabin space, engine options, brand preference, etc. If you want a car with sporty looks, a better feature list, a premium cabin experience, and like to spend time in front seats, you may go for Hyundai Verna. The Verna's never been a car that had something exceptionally exciting to it. It just gave you the right balance of quality, comfort, and features which made it a tempting package. With the facelift, that essence hasn't changed. If we talk about Maruti Ciaz, it is a sedan that ticks a lot of boxes for a daily driver which can also do long distances in comfort then look no further. Ciaz is spacious, comfortable and feels premium. Second-row legroom can shame cars from many segments above it. If you are looking for a feature-rich car with a spacious cabin, comfortable ride quality and premium components then we would suggest you opt for the Maruti Ciaz. Whereas, the 2020 Honda City improves significantly on all its faults and some of its strengths too. It does skimp out on some wow features and is still be one of the priciest options in the segment. But it continues to be a well-balanced sedan and a chauffeur-driven owners delight. It is larger both in length and width, comfortable ride, better interiors, more legroom in the back seats and a great feature set. Moreover, selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and the average running of the car. If you drive less than 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially than the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it a feasible purchase. Diesel cars are more fuel-efficient and provide more torque, therefore, are preferred for a person who drives more than 50km. Whereas, petrol engine has a low service cost, more life span, generally have a well-controlled NVH level and are cheaper in cost than the diesel engines. We would suggest you take a test drive for a better understanding of performance and driving comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for the dealership.
