Fiat Linea Latest Updates

July 08, 2016 : Fiat India has added a new set of variants to its dated C-segment sedan line-up with the Linea 125 S. The car has been introduced at a base price of Rs 7.82 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and was first showcased at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo. The good thing is that, in addition to getting some interior upgrades, the 125 S Linea sees performance enhancement, which makes it the most powerful petrol sedan in its segment

Editor's View of Fiat Linea

  • Upside

    Looks, handling characteristics, stylish interior

  • Downside

    Underpowered engine, NVH levels

  • Our Verdict

One of the most stylish sedans to have ever been sold in India gets a bit better. That said, the 1.3-litre multijet engine does seem a little outdated now

Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Linea

Q. How is the Linea maintenance and suspension cost?
  • Upto first four years no cost at all. Then I had to change shocks, window jam, ac issues, remote control of keys non functional, display panel gone. The vehicle engine is running well. Comfortable etcBut on a scale of 1-5 in terms of cost I would rank linea at 3.8 out of 5 : By Sachin | 3 months ago
  • Suspensions are very good in class. and this is very low maintenance car. if you are going for second hand car then check each and every thing. don't to service in showroom. spare parts cost not too much but availability in open market is too less. : By Chetan | 2 months ago
  • Maintenance of the car is low, servicing is at 15000 kms for diesel car and the average amount for service is around 10-12K. Its been 5 years of ownership for me and i have not got the suspension work done. : By Anurag | 3 months ago
Q. Is Fiat linea good for middle class family or maintenance affordable?
  • Fiat linea is very low maintenance in this segment for first owner. if you are second owner then just ensure car conditions. if you are looking for more affordable car then go for Maruti Suzuki cars. : By Chetan | 2 months ago
  • Very good for a family of 5 and maintenance is affordable. I would have spent close to 45000 in last 5 years on servicing, so that comes to 9000 per year. : By Anurag | 3 months ago
  • Yes, you can go for Fiat Linea but also we would suggest you to look after for its nearby service stations. • Fiat engine are world famous. don't worry you can drive 2 lakshya kms easily but check you oil levels regularly, maintain you car liquids, don't run car if engine lights blown and engine get heated. put advisable levels of coolent. don't worry engine to very good. if oil pressure showing low change your oil sump and oil supply pump. : By Chetan | 2 months ago

  • 80KM avg you can consider, I took a risk to check if I really go for 80KM, keeping a can of diesel with me. it surely did go 80KM. but however fuel injected machines are at huge risk when they are running on near empty tanks.. its good to get it filled up soon to avoid fuel pump failures (in long run).. : By Navin | 1 month ago
  • Fiat Linea features a fuel tank of 45-litres and the low fuel light comes on when there is around 10-15 percent fuel left in the tank. Now, the car will run around 80 kilometres for the diesel variant and 55 kilometres for the petrol one. Moreover, it would also vary per the current mileage of the car. : By Zigwheels | 2 months ago
  • It depends what mileage you have. approx 5 liter in reserve and 3-5 liter in after reserve. if yoy have 12 kmpl milage then you can run 80-90 km in worst situations. but never put fuel levels empty or don't fuel for 200-300Rs. : By Chetan | 2 months ago

  • It is always recommended to get the CNG kit fitted from the authorized service center so that you can avail the warranty services as well. If you get it installed from some other sources, then it may hamper your warranty. Love the car. Comfortable, easy to drive with low maintenance cost. Got all features of a high end car like Automatic climate controls, wipers, headlights and single touch glass windows for driver and co passenger. Things missing are entertainment touch screen, sunroof. Engine is well refined and very quiet, even in diesel.

Nice and awesome car but the main problem is that there are no service centre’s available in our area for service so we had to give the car to ordinary workshop for repairing

  • 4.7

Overall great car but parts is little bit expensive while comparing to others good car great pickup and amazing comfort in driving lacks few latest technology but it"s okay

Linea Emotion Pack has been a class apart from other similar models of all manufacturers. Besides mileage, safety, comfort and average and road grip are superb. With service at 15000 km, it is very economical. I previously owned Tata Sumo, in my father's name, when its first model was launched in Mica Blue in 1995.

It's running fine. 6 yeas back I converted on CNG though being turbojet. Still no problem. Resale of Linea is bad hence I am forced to keep it. But still I enjoy driving it. Fiat is the best. With using Fiat engines other automobile co have gained a lot.
