Tata just launched the Sierra EV a few days back, starting at a price of Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom), and over these past few days, the Sierra EV has created a layer of hype around itself thanks to its retro-inspired styling and a very feature-loaded cabin. We now know that the new Sierra EV has a lot to offer and also holds the potential to become a favourite family electric SUV. Most of the details of the car have been released; here are some of the interesting features that stand out in the package.
Let's have a look at these 5 most interesting features that we really loved about the 2026 Tata Sierra EV:
The Tata Sierra EV comes equipped with Tata’s new quad-wheel drive (QWD) setup, which houses a dual-motor setup with one motor placed on each axle. The all-wheel drive is offered exclusively on the 75 kWh battery pack option, which offers a claimed range of 624 km and a massive 504 Nm of torque.

It also comes with a boost mode, off-road-specific terrain modes, and an off-road assist, all of which not only improve traction and performance, but also help in tackling different on and off-road conditions. The QWD system adds an extra layer of versatility and makes the Sierra EV a more appealing choice for buyers who enjoy exploring the unseen.
The Tata Sierra EV comes equipped with a comprehensive camera suite that includes a 540-degree surround-view camera with a transparent mode, adaptive front and rear turn cameras, and a blind spot view monitor.

Not only does this add to the safety perks of the car, but one of its standout features is the front-facing camera mounted below the bumper, which provides a clear view of the terrain directly ahead of the SUV. This can be particularly useful while off-roading, helping drivers navigate obstacles, steep inclines, and uneven surfaces with greater confidence and precision.
The Tata Sierra EV comes equipped with an auto park assist with over 16 features in the higher variants. Some key features of this function include parallel and perpendicular parking in and out, angular park assist, anywhere parking, reversing assist, manoeuvre warnings, rim protection, etc.

The auto park assist feature proves really helpful in tight and difficult parking spaces, a problem which has been emerging a lot in some urban cities, where having this can be a lifesaver and highly convenient.
The Sierra EV also inherits the Summon Mode feature from the Harrier EV, a technology that was originally popularised by Tesla. Using the key fob or the connected car app, owners can move the SUV forwards or backwards remotely without being inside it.

This is another feature that can prove particularly useful in tight parking spaces or crowded areas where getting in or out of the vehicle may be difficult, adding another layer of convenience to the overall ownership experience.
The Sierra EV also gets AirConsole integration, transforming the passenger-side infotainment screen into a multiplayer gaming console. Occupants can simply connect their smartphones and use them as game controllers, eliminating the need to interact directly with the touchscreen while gaming.

This feature can be particularly useful during charging stops or while waiting in the car, keeping both adults and children entertained and further enhancing the overall in-cabin experience.
A set of convenience features that instantly draws attention inside the cabin are the adjustable thigh support for the front seats and an 8-way adjustable sun visor.

Not only does this improve seating comfort for the front occupants to improve comfort and offer a much more relaxed seating position, but it also helps in adjusting the sun visor as per user requirements to block maximum sunlight coming from the ends of the visor and enhance eye comfort for both front occupants.

These features might feel small, but turn out to be really helpful for those long cross-country road trips.
