  • Q. Does it have optional ABS - Livo?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 8 months ago

The Honda Livo is a good entry-level option for youngsters with its sporty looks, good mileage and decent pricing. It can also do well in towns that require long distance travelling from place to place. The bike is BS-IV compliant and gets features like Automatic Headlight On, along with a low-maintenance battery and filter. However, optional ABS could have been a plus on the bike. On the other hand, smoother, more refined, and more comfortable to ride too, the resurrected TVS Victor's competitive pricing should help it gain the attention of buyers in the segment as it is a competent product for someone wanting a well-built, comfortable and efficient commuter motorcycle. We would suggest you to take a test ride in order to clear your all doubts. Click on the given link to get your nearest dealership details: https://www.zigwheels.com/bikes/dealers

No, it isn't equipped with ABS. The Indian Government has enforced the ABS mandate rule for all bikes (newly launched & existing) with engine capacity greater than 125cc from April next year. In April this year, the Government made ABS compulsory for all bikes (125cc and above) that are going to be launched henceforth. So in place of ABS, we expect that Honda Livo will get CBS.

Honda Livo is powered by 109.19cc Air cooled, 4 stroke, SI engine which produces maximum power of 6.10 kw (8.2bhp)@7500 rpm and maximum torque of 8.63Nm @5500 rpm, top speed is 86 kmph. Which is good for a vehicle of this capacity.

Kerb weight is less compared to other bikes in the segment. So there's a hefty chance of the bike skidding if rear brake is applied too hard. Otherwise the pickup is excellent and build quality is quite good as well

  • Q. My height is 163 cm, Livo is good for me or not?
    Parikshit
    Parikshit | 5 months ago

The bike may be slightly taller for you. It may not be safe in the long run for you to ride this bike as you may not be able to control it or jump yourself to safety during an accident. So I may not advise you for this bike. The rest is upto you. You can buy Hero Splendor or Bajaj Avenger for your ride. Test ride both. Hero Splendor is light while Bajaj Avenger is heavy while it suits your height.

Allan->Check out his height. He is only 163 cms which is around 5ft 4inches. You may be taller than this guy and hence are comfortable with the bike. Michael should consider other bikes as suggested by me.

My bike gives between 40-45. Height of Livo comparatively high. Have a test drive. Livo has inherit engine problems.i.e. Faulty gear box. Check online reviews of verified users. Livo resale value is pathetic. Ask any of your neighbouring bike evaluators. All the best.

It's a same wine in different bottles. While Livo comes with disc brakes and is slightly more expensive, Dream Yuga comes only with drum brakes. However Dream Yuga is much cheaper then the Livo. They share the same engine.
