At 108kg, it’s not the lightest in its segment, but there are a few things to consider. First of all, the floorboard-mounted fuel tank means all the weight is concentrated down low, so moving it around at standstill is a piece of cake. And when on the move, the Jupiter 125 seems the least like a traditional family scooter, because of another essential ingredient: 12-inch wheels front and rear, a la the NTorq. This means it feels a lot more stable than the Activa and Access in city traffic, and considering the immodest low- and mid-speed grunt on tap, you’ll be zipping through traffic all day, every day. Its ride quality, too, is at odds with the entire commuter genre. Instead of a typical soft setup, the Jupiter 125 is quite composed. You won’t feel that “bouncy” feeling that many commuter scooters suffer from when going over speed breakers. Additionally, there’s no wallow when going over large undulations, even with a pillion on board. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. In terms of stability it is one of the best 125cc scooters. But, it lacks the punch that you might need for long rides that even some 110cc scooters are better in than this 125cc. Overall, its very stable, comfortable and returns a decent mileage of 43kmpl with a pillion at 70kmph, only if you accelerate linearly.

Good on comfort, bad on fuel volume as BSVI needs atleast 2.5 L of reserve, so usable is 2.5-2.6L lasting hardly 90-100km. Cant drive under reserve, as it voids waranty and may cause damage to fuel pump and engine.

  • Riding the TVS Jupiter 125: A Step Up

After much contemplation, I upgraded to the TVS Jupiter 125 from its younger sibling, hoping for a power increase along with the reliability I had come to associate with the brand. The 124.8 cc engine definitely packs more punch offering a peak power of around 8 PS. The fuel efficiency is commendable too, at around 50 to 55 kmpl makes it a prudent choice for both city rides and occasional longer commutes. The larger fuel tank capacity of 5.1 liters means fewer stops for refueling, which is great. And who can overlook the spacious 32 liter under seat storage.

  • beautifully made for you

Recently my brother bought a TVS Jupiter 125 for my father for daily essential rides. Its 124.8cc, single-cylinder and air-cooled engine us perfect fot my rides . I experienced that its milage is around 50 kmplm . The Jupiter 125 offers under-seat storage space that can typically accommodate a helmet. While ABS is not available, it is not that safer that i expected. Overall it offers a good balance of features, performance, and fuel efficiency at an attractive price point.

  • Great performance and mileage

The storage space in this scooter is very good with good under seat storage and is a strong scooter. The power on the scooter is quite with good pickup and is a great in both city and highway and the initial and mid range is very good and the brakes of this scooter is decent. Taking a U turn is very easy and is very easy to drive because it is a light weight scooter and the suspension is very comfortable and I get easily around 50 to 55 kmpl of mileage.
