Yamaha 2021 MT-09 Latest Updates
Yamaha has unveiled the MT-09 Cyber Rally at the Osaka Motorcycle Show 2022. Read this story for all the details.
From the Dark Side of Japan series, Yamaha has brought in a brand new MT-09. The updated middleweight naked gets a radically different LED face that is bound to stir up some talking. But look past it and you get a larger 889cc triple engine that puts out 119PS and 93Nm, 4PS and 5.5Nm more than the older 847cc engine. It gets a bi-directional quickshifter, IMU-aided rider aids, and improved cycle parts. The entire dope on the new MT-09 in our story here.
Expect Yamaha India to ride in the 2021 MT-09 by the middle of next year. Prices are likely to be around Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom), roughly the same as the Triumph Street Triple RS. The reason why the Yamaha naked will be so expensive is because it will arrive as a CBU, with no CKD plans in sight for any big capacity Yamaha motorcycles.
