Do you mean with Day Running Light (DRL) system in BS4 headlight is on everytime when vehicle is operating, so does this drain the battery? Answer is NO. LED bulbs are used which have very minimal power to affect the battery. Still if any issue arises then you can get it repaired/replaced within warranty.

Even if you need it for short ride it should be comfortable2. availability of service center near your house - since you are a beginner, it is required to have service center near by for quick service & support3. features - almost same features you get within same price range, check out for the most suitable ones you get.
