Pros and Cons

  • Positives
  • Negatives

Skoda Kushaq

  • Classy SUV looks. Sensible features list and simple variant line-up. Powerful 1.5 TSI petrol engine and engaging driving dynamics. Good safety features.

Toyota Innova Hycross

  • Spacious
  • practical
  • feature-rich experience from a Toyota. Efficient hybrid is easy to drive in the city and cruise down the highway. Ottoman seats are the boss.

Skoda Kushaq

  • Lacks some 'wow' features. Could have been wider for better space in the second row. No diesel option.

Toyota Innova Hycross

  • Some iffy plastic quality
  • flip-up cupholder in second row could be better
  • not really a seven seater.

Recently Asked User Questions

Q. Which one is the best Skoda Kushaq or Hyundai Creta?
  • Skoda Kushaq seems to have nailed the brief in terms of looks, build and design. When it comes to performance, there's little more you could ask for from the two tractable powertrains. It also gets a long list of features, including some premium items too. But there are small hiccups everywhere. The slightly plasticky bits in the cabin, the narrow cabin at the back, lack of more wow features. On the other hand, The Hyundai Creta is clearly an impressive compact SUV. It is spacious, comfortable, loaded with features, easy to drive, and offered powerful petrol and diesel engine options. Compared to the old car, it is a huge upgrade, both in terms of drive and feel. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your city and brand accordingly for dealership details.
Q. Which is the best SUV amongst Kushaq, Seltos and Astor?
  • Choosing the right vehicle depends highly on one's preferences. All three Kushaq, Seltos and Astor are solid contenders in the segment. While Astor is a well-balanced, compact SUV with a good mix of design, quality, performance, and safety, the Seltos has impressed everyone so much that all we could complain about is a lack of under-thigh support and the rather stiff ride quality. Kushaq, on the other hand, is not overflowing with features it aims to win over buyers with its powerful and efficient petrol engines and smart packaging. The Astor’s 1.5-litre displacement is right up there with its rivals but pushes the least power at 110PS. While its torque figures are the same as the Seltos, it's the Kushaq that has the edge in this department, thanks to the turbocharged engine. If we talk about boot space Kia Seltos has definitely topped the list with its 433 litres boot space. But to sum it up, The Astor is managing to stand out in the segment with its looks, tech and upmarket cabin experience. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read more- Skoda Kushaq First Drive Review: 16 Things You Should Know. -MG Astor First Drive Review: Standing Out In Style.
Q. Which car is good, Kushaq or Taigun?
  • Both the cars are good in their forte. Skoda looks set to shake up the segment with this well equipped compact SUV. And while it's not overflowing with features it aims to win over buyers with its powerful and efficient petrol engines and smart packaging. Skoda Kushaq has a classy crowd pleasing SUV look whereas, the Volkswagen Taigun has a good amount of features, safety feature-wise too it feels sorted right from the base variant. The ride is comfortable enough and more importantly is fun to drive! Actually, scratch that, this SUV drives so well that it deserves to wear the GT badge more than the Polo ever did. `For a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test drive. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.Read more -Volkswagen Taigun First Drive Review: 10 Reasons Why It Lives Up To The Hype!.-Skoda Kushaq First Drive Review: 16 Things You Should Know!.

Skoda Kushaq - Stylish and Efficient

Last month, I took the Skoda Kushaq on to show my friend. He felt that it is a mix of style, comfort and efficiency. Powered by a 1.5L TSI engine with 150 bhp and reaching up to 16-17 km/l mileage, the Kushaq did not disappoint. Its sleek design and comfortable seats made his test drive enjoyable and the 385 liter boot space was more than enough for every luggage. The rear seat felt slightly cramped for taller passengers on long drive.

    outstanding performance

A practically designed, compact sedan, the Skoda Kushaq has space for 5 passengers with roomy and comfortable cabin, enough legroom and good amount of boot space. This model is available for an affordable price, which is a tad bit convenient but of course owes to the benchmark of skoda. With both petrol and diesel fuel type, FWD drive train and innumerable modern features infused with technology, this model stands out.

    in public's high demand

Startng from a decent price range in India, the Skoda Kushaq is a strength defining car model built to beat the rest. Its powerful engine delivers great power and performance. The maintenance of this car seeks a bit of attention, time and cost but it is definitely worthy of all the appreciation. It is available in many variants and colours. My experience at the showroom as well as the buying process was also quite good and i would recommend this to all.

Skoda Kushaq: A Stylish Yet Practical SUV Choice

After driving the Skoda Kushaq for over six months now I can share a firsthand account of both its charms and challenges. The Kushaq with its 1.0 TSI engine is quite a performer delivering a robust 115hp which makes highway driving a breeze. Its handling is commendable and the ride quality is top notch thanks to its well tuned suspension. Fuel efficiency is decent coming around 17.88 km/l for the petrol variant which is economical for its class. The rear seating space might feel cramped for three adults and the boot space at 385 liters though decent for families.

    Skoda Kushaq best design

Skoda Kushaq is my new car the available at price point of 13.7 lakhs. First Time i am Very impressed with the interior design of car. The Exterior design also very Good. The Seating arrangement is also very comfortable and provided material is also Very Good quality. But The car gives little low mileage in City. The Engine Displacement is about 1498 cc. The Transmission Type of my car is Automatic. The provided Front and rear Powerful Windows is also Good. The Airbags gives safety to both driver and passenger. The Pick up and Breaking system is also very impressive.

    Super awesome

Had an amazing customer service while purchasing the car.Got the delivery 1 week before committed date.I had asked for a pdi and the dealer dint show any hesitation & called me over1for it and let me do a thorough examination.Post delivery service was also great attending to all my1questions.1.The car is a sheer drivers delight. The 1.5 mt engine is super awesome. The additional premium on the car is completely justified when you drive the1car.2.The fuel efficiency was 17-20 km/l on highway and 12-14 km/l on city rides.3.Steering adjustment ( tilt & telescopic) helped find the right driving position1& though on lighter side its still precise & helped instilled confidence.4.Clutch & gearbox are1very smooth.Stability is great with almost minimal body roll.5.Suspension was comfortable, However a bit on1the stiffer side.6.Boot space was the eyebrow raiser as i could pack in more bags than the creta ! 7.Storage1spaces are well done with the cooled gloves box capable of holding several 200 ml cans for a refreshing drink1on a hot driving day.8.Ventilated seats are a boon on the hot highway drives.9.Touch screen has high1resolution and very slick and easy to use.10.Comfortable seats and a lovely 2 spoke steering with leather finish is very stylish.Cons: 1.A/c controls being touch, Its tough to set it up without taking your eyes off the road. Also the cooling is1average & not excellent.2.A digital instrument cluster like the one in skoda kamiq would have done1wonders.3.Some bits of the car ( like roof lining ) etc have some cost cutting but those are mostly areas1where your eyes would look once a while. So not a deal breaker.Service & maintenance : expect 6000/- yearly1including labor.Recommend taking the 4 yrs maintenance package as its cheaper in the longer run.Verdict: if1you want a performance car with sensible features with good build & safety then buy this car without a1doubt.The only other car matching this performance in the underrated beast nissan kicks 1.3 turbo but it has some ergonomic issues & a dull interior. However, Kicks is the only car that goes head1on head with this car's performance.

    Bought kushaq

I bought Skoda Kushaq Ambition 1.0 manual in mid-September 2020. I have done 11k km till now 60% highway and 40% city drive. The reason I Bought Kushaq- 1) Wanted a compact SUV with power so that I can drive that on highways and traffic as well. Trust me it is 1 great car for city drive as well due to turbo engine 2) Safety standards 3) 10-inch Infotainment system has very good touch response and Music system is good even without amplifier and 1subwoofer in mid variant. 4) Power Delivery 5) Interior (I always wanted a black interior car I'm not a fan of1beige interiors). Also, the dashboard designs are very attractive and appealing with great finishing .6) great1Torque 7) Comfort 8) Great legroom for passengers 9) Sheer Driving Pleasure 10) Smart Elements so these are the 10 reasons why I bought Kushaq. Also, the cons what I feel is 1) backseat lacks space for 3 people 2 people can sit comfortably basically its a proper 4 seaters 2) Dimensions such as height and length could have better although it has the longest wheelbase almost competitors3) Ac Control touch buttons are not really so easy to use while driving physical buttons would have been better 4) Lacks digital cockpit. But overall I'm happy with my choice and until now the performance Kushaq delivered is really really amazing also the mileage is good as well my average mileage is 16-17 kmpl which was not expected. Those who are considering Seltos and Creta should at least once test drive Kushaq and Taigun before buying I think this might change your mind. Because a lot of people have many misconceptions about VW and Skoda. Although Creta and Seltos are great cars as well.

    I have been driving skoda

I have been driving skoda kushaq 1.5 since december 21, And it really feels pleasure to drive after having driven diesel cars for a decade and a half.It is definitely very silent especially in the highways, With a city average being around 11 and on highways at about 15.In terms of power i didn’t feel any lack of power, And although the suspension is a little on the stiffer side, But overall there is low body roll and better stability even on high speeds.Braking is again excellent and over all build quality is superb.I really liked their airsense feature that routinely lets fresh air to ensure a safe and comfortable ride. The ventillated seats are more like a gimmick. The infotainment system is quite standard though for a car that costs close to 18 lakhs, But it works efficiently. However considering that the vw had targeted indian market with this car, I wish they had given a bigger boot space, As at times i feel the space ain’t enough.A little bigger boot space would have gone a long way considering for an average customer it is going to be his family car.The other thing which i didn’t like was the seating for middle person in the back, Although i haven’t seen a proper 5 seater in this segment, But considering it’s a car that’s being designed for indian market; it might have been a great addition.

Compact SUV with a Splash of Luxury

I am in love with the Skoda Kushaq's interpretation, practicality, and Expression quintet as a proud owner. My assiduous life impeccably complements the 4 wheeler's important and muscular face, which emits a feeling of confidence and capability. As soon as I stepped outside, I was ate with a roomy and canny cabin that offers everyone enough of headroom and legroom, guaranteeing a affable lift indeed on lengthy passages. Driving is pleasurable because to the well- allowed - out cabin and simple layout, and the plenitude of storehouse room makes sure I am invariably prepared for any excursion. A Well-Built, Spacious and Family Vehicle

Toyota Innova Hycross A full-featured, well-built family vehicle. Additionally, it is incredibly sturdy and secure at high speeds. Driving is really pleasant, and the suspension is good. ADAS is helpful on lengthy highway drives, and space is a major benefit. The third row can comfortably accommodate two adults. On signals, quick acceleration with motor assistance is really helpful. Stunning handling and feather touch controls far more safety considerations than you may imagine Cons: Disconnection from Android Auto when driving. This is an unacceptable issue for such a high-end automobile. A software upgrade was promised. There is no rain-sensing wiper (not a significant deal, but startled to miss it). Less arch gap would have made the wheels better.

Fusion of Hybrid Efficiency and Space

The Toyota Innova Hycross has surfaced as the zenith of rigidity and practicality, winning my reference with its detectable layout and operative engine. Every drive is protean and ready thanks to its quick running and malleable commands, and its provident engine guarantees a smooth and operative interpretation on the road. my reason for both rigidity and practicality is fully gratified by the MPV thanks to its ultrapractical features and stoner friendly installations, which also give a touch of luxury and utility. The Toyota Innova Hycross is now the zenith of practicality and rigidity, furnishing a reliable and fashionable option for drivers appearing for a adjustable and affable ride.
