The top-spec ZX and ZX(O) boast a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, powered front seats, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, a premium JBL sound system and ventilated front seats.

Safety features include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, electronic parking brake with auto hold and, on the ZX (O) variant, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The Toyota Innova Hycross offers two engine options: a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 173 PS; and a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder strong-hybrid engine generating 184 PS, both paired with front-wheel drive and CVT.

The immediate rival to the Innova Hycross is its Maruti Suzuki counterpart Invicto. It also goes up against the Toyota Innova Crysta and Kia Carens, as well as three-row SUVs such as the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector, Hyundai Alcazar and even the Tata Safari.
