Toyota India recently introduced the GX (O) variant for the petrol-powered model of the Innova Hycross, featuring enhancements focused on comfort and convenience. Priced from Rs 20.99 lakh (ex-showroom), it is offered in both 7- and 8-seater options. Bookings are open, with deliveries already in progress. Here's a rundown of the key features and details of this latest top-tier petrol variant of the Innova Hycross in 10 images.
Front

The top-spec petrol-only variant of the Hycross now gets LED fog-lamps which were a miss previous to this powertrain. There are front parking sensors added to this variant, further amplifying its convenience features.
Profile

The side profile remains identical, with petrol-only variants getting silver painted 16-inch alloy wheels as against the larger dual tone alloys found on hybrid variants.
Back

At the rear, you get a windscreen wiper and defogger for added convenience.
Dashboard

The interior colour scheme gets an update with chestnut and black dual tone finish from the higher variants. The GX(O) variants also get a smart key with push button start/stop functionality.
Infotainment screen

A larger 10.1-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity takes centre stage. This screen also relays the display for the 360 degree camera which comes equipped in this variant. Note, the larger infotainment unit is only for the GX(O) 7-seater variant.
Seat layout

The GX(O) variant can be had in both 7 (captain seats for second row) and 8 seater (bench seat for second row) variants.
Boot Capacity

With all the seats up, the Innova Hycross boasts a boot capacity of 300 litres. It can be further expanded to 991 litres by folding the third row seats.
Six Airbags

On the safety front, the Innova Hycross is equipped with 6 airbags as standard.

It gets powered by a 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine mated to a CVT producing 173 PS and 209 Nm.

The 8-seater GX(O) variant is priced at Rs 20.99 lakh, and the 7-seater variant is priced at Rs 21.13 lakh . Meanwhile, the GX trim below it starts at Rs 19.77 lakh . This new variant makes the petrol-only Innova Hycross more appealing, as it offers additional features and comforts without the need to opt for the far more expensive hybrid variants, whose prices start from Rs 25.97 lakh.
