Watch Out For These 2 New Skoda Cars Set To Launch In 2024

Skoda’s 2023 is all about constantly introducing special editions for its made-in-India offerings, the Kushaq and Slavia. We also bid goodbye to the Octavia and Superb during the transition to BS6.2 norms. That said, 2024 could see the Czech carmaker introduce electrified models on our shores. Its volume sellers could see model year updates as well. Here’s what one can expect from these Skoda offerings:

Octavia RS iV

We earlier reported that Skoda will indeed bring back the Octavia nameplate in the future. And in 2024, we could witness the launch of the carmaker’s first plug-in hybrid offering in India, the Octavia RS iV. Yes, the Octavia RS is going green on our shores, but it’s coming as a full import and a hybrid powertrain, which means it will be on the pricier side. Read more about the Octavia RS iV here.

Enyaq iV

Another “green” Skoda that could make its way to India in 2024 is the all-electric Enyaq iV. The all-electric SUV has been spotted on test multiple times and is expected to be introduced as a fully imported model. Internationally, there’s an SUV-coupe version of the Enyaq, but India is likely to get the standard body style. Here’s what to expect from Skoda’s first EV in India.

MY Updates for Kushaq and Slavia 

It's anticipated that the Skoda Kushaq and Slavia, having made their market debuts in 2021, might receive a model year update, potentially including new colour options among the current range of special editions. While minor cosmetic tweaks are possible, significant revisions to features aren't expected, except for a possible inclusion of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to stay competitive in their respective segments. Skoda is likely to maintain the existing powertrain configurations without alterations for both the Slavia and Kushaq.
