- Well. Even i was on this same confusion and bought VW 1.0 comfirtline. Let me tell you if you need premium quality, comfirt drive, safety, and the feel of german brand wwith european standard go for VW polo, but in comfirtline you get 1.0mpi not the turbo charged it will get in highline only, so you feel bit powerless on initial but drive quality is amazing after that in polo. Tiago is good in safety now and yeh 1.2 engine, still you don't feel premium or comfirt drive. You never regret buying polo.
- Even i was on this same confusion and almost decided to buy Tata tiago XZ+ but after seen the POLO, I bought VW 1.0 Comfortline. Let me tell you if you need premium quality, comfort drive, safety, and the feel of German brand with European standard go for VW polo, but in Comfortline you get 1.0mpi not the turbo charged, it will get in highline only, so you feel bit powerless on initial but drive quality is amazing after that in polo. Quality of the inside plastics good, Stylish design finishing .
- Polo is good but it's cost is high and trust me tiago is way much poweful in it's compitition and if you can increase your budget then rather going for non indian brand you can also take a test drive for either altroz or it's turbo variant, will provide you best safety, best braking impressive interior and space and comfort. Take a test drive and decide, you will fall for it for sure.
- I'd say Tiago is better in safety and build quality. Its really sturdy. Best in class body panel thickness. Its 1200kgs. So there you have an answer. I would prefer solid Tiago over a cheap and cheap built Swift.
- Obviously swift for humans safety and tiago for vehicle safety body built. If you wish to live long then swift is the best or rather if you don't want to live and your car needs live then Tiago
- Swift is only for 50,000 km for smooth drive after 50,000km it is hard driving . Tiago is a very good
- Tiago,tigor,altroz have engines...each one have 1.2lac difference..if u Want drive in city Tiago best, if u want more boot space go with tigor...becoz Tiago boot space-240lt, tigor-420lt...altroz best vehicle but very low ground clearance..if u want to drive in off-roads go with nexon...
- From money point of view Tiago is the best and that too xz or xz+ variant

Not satisfied with the 999cc kwid automatic variant.I brought it assuming it be a descent buy at this price range.But it did not turn out the way expected.Cabin noise, Vibration is high.Pickup is low.Actual mmileage is lower than the claimed figure.Manual might be a better option.

Hi Friends l, My review about Tiago.One the best cars under 7 lakh section. I owned Tata tiago XZ 2020. Car ride quality is awsome. The quality of suspension is more than Hyundai i10 nios and suzuki swift cars. Look wise viewing angle is looks like a sporty hatchback.I found only con that due to three cylinder engine the gear knob is vibrating. Gear shifting is not smooth as Hyundai i10 nios and swift cars. I feel that one is the only drawback other than it is awsome.Harman audio system is awesome XZ model had 4 speakers and 4 tweeters. Mileage wise I got 18 kmpl at Bangalore city and my 22 kmpl in highway.Safety wise as you all aware Global NCAP 4 star.Am totally satisfied about the car. I love my Tiago.Hope it helps you guys. Overall it is very good car compared to other hatch back competitors like hyundai santro, i10, celerio, wagnor, kwid and swift. I can it is the best car when it comes to safety, build quality, performance and mileage (my amt xza car is giving 24-25 on highways). But only thing I've observed is little bit noise because tata comes with 3 cylinder. If it starts providing cars with 4 cylinder, then no other can compete with it (this is for sure which I can say0.
