All Your Questions About The Maruti Ignis’ Variants Answered20 Feb, 2020 | By Team ZigWheels
Recently Asked User Questions
- All three care are good in their forte. The Ignis is a great little quirky car that packs in a lot and will put a big smile on your face every time you see it in your garage. A smile big enough to justify that price. On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is the ideal small family car. Its spacious, practical, efficient and offers a convenient automatic with both engine options. Whereas, Celerio is a well-rounded package. If not for the higher price it would have become a stylish alternative to the Wagon R. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Wagon r is best in these three cars
- Wagon R is best car ever
- Selecting between the Maruti Ignis and Maruti Celerio would depend on certain factors such as your budget, preference of the segment, usage of the car, features required, etc. The Maruti Ignis is bright aqua blue on the diesel Ignis makes sure people take notice. Second, the all-LED projector headlamps with daytime running lamps. The DRLs shine brightly even under the harsh noon sun. The Ignis, especially in its Alpha trim, the headlamps are pretty much the only thing that differentiates the Zeta variant visually from the top-spec Alpha you see in the pictures. Everything else, including the black-finished 15-inch alloy wheels, the quirky tail and the one-piece grille with a chrome lipstick remain as is. The other subtle pointers are puddle lamps (placed under the wing mirrors) and the inclusion of a rear-view camera. On the other hand, The 2021 Celerio is based on the same HEARTECT platform as the Ignis and the Wagon R, but when it comes to styling, it takes a middle ground where it isn't as utilitarian as the Wagon R or as quirky as the Ignis. Overall, this car looks well balanced from most angles and is pleasing to the eye. When you compare it to the old Celerio it also has more muscle which lends it more road presence and character. When it comes to size, the new Celerio is slightly longer and wider than the Wagon R but in terms of height, it is slightly shorter because of which it doesn't look as big as its sibling. The Celerio is powered by a 1-litre three-cylinder petrol engine which is similar to the old car but Maruti has made significant changes to improve power and efficiency. It now gets a new engine block, head and in fact, this motor is a smaller version of the Swift’s 1.2 litres Dualjet unit. It is a high-tech motor with dual injectors and variable valve timing, produces 68PS and 89Nm, and is paired to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Selecting between the Maruti Ignis and Tata Punch would depend on certain factors such as your budget, preference of the segment, usage of the car, features required, etc. On the other hand, The Punch is immediately recognisable as a Tata. The face has a strong connection to the Harrier, especially because of the LED DRLs and headlamp layout. The gloss black grille with tri-arrow cutouts for the horn reminds us of the Nexon. The Punch looks chunky too, as these elements are worn on a face that feels appropriately boxy and upright thanks to the stubby nose, flat good and upright A-pillars. It is sizable too; almost as long as the Swift, with a wheelbase that’s smaller by just a few millimetres, and an overall height that is more than the Nexon! Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

XUV400 EVI am using Mahindra XUV 400
I am using mahindra xuv 400 since last one year, Major problem of this car is”range”.Company is claiming 456 km one charge, But my car not even reached 300 km in one full charge. This is fake claim to fool and attract the new customers. After my several complaints company has changed battery pack once they arranged joint driving test but till today after running 30000/- kms i never achieve 300 km range.

XUV400 EVtaking to your destiny
Electric cars are in a lot of demand these days. Great affordability and uncountable features are a unique package which when found in an attractive automobile, is no less than a boon. The Mahindra XUV400 EV is structured in a unique way and can be spotted on the roads easily. It is swift, as well as smooth. The maintenance is not hectic and not even costly. Price is obviously a bit expensive but i would claim it as worth it as its been several months since i have been driving this and my experience has been great.

XUV400 EVEV electric drive that drive country
I have been driving the Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV recently. It is the most affordable electric SUV in its class. This makes it easier for many people to buy an eco-friendly vehicle. The roomy interior and cozy seats are great for long trips. However, the driving range is not as good as some other electric cars. Finding charging stations can sometimes be hard too. The XUV400's looks could also be improved to match rival vehicles. But overall, it is a solid choice if you want to switch to electric without spending too much money.

XUV400 EVElectric Future
My buddy purchased the Mahindra XUV400 EV recently. I got to drive it myself. This electric vehicle is really impressive! The interior has lots of space. Driving feels smooth and gentle. And it's eco-friendly, which is awesome. Best of all, it's one of the most affordable options in its class. A true bargain! That said, the driving range could be longer. And there still aren't enough charging stations around. But if you want an affordable, environmentally-friendly SUV, definitely consider the Mahindra XUV400 EV.

XUV400 EVLoving My Mahindra XUV400 EV Adventure
After eagerly waiting for the launch, I recently got my hands on the Mahindra XUV400 EV and it has been an exciting few months driving this electric beauty around. The power and acceleration are surprisingly quick for an EV, with the motor producing up to 150PS and enabling a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds. The eco friendly aspect, combined with the savings on fuel is a big plus in today's world. The range of approximately 456 km on a single charge as per ARAI is more than adequate for my daily city drives and some weekend getaways without range anxiety.

XUV400 EVbest partner in travel
Mahindra XUV400 EV offers a thrilling riding journey to the owners. Conscious and true to its environment, it also serves as a great partner to the driver and passengers. The features that it has to provide are purely beneficial to the owner. Although the price is a bit high, its again all worthwhile in my opinion. No fuel, no transmission and great quality drives, even aids to less pollution contributing towards a clean environment.

Ignis4.0Peppy driving
Owning/Driving Ignis Zeta MT from last 14 months, crossed 9500 kms on odometer till now. My buying experience:As I had already owned secondhand Maruti 800cc and driven Alto K10 (1000 cc) cars in the past & now wish to buy a new car for the first time, I was looking for a 1200cc car, within budget of 6.5 lakhs, so shortlisted Swift, New Hyundai Santro, Tata Tiago and Ignis. Took test drive of each of them. Facelift Swift VXI was overall a good car but costing at around 7.06 lakhs OTR, Santro Asta test drive was not satisfactory. Tata Tiago XZ was at 6.30 lakhs OTR but had 3 cylinder engine.Further I found that Maruti Swift, Baleno, Dezire & Ignis have the same K12B petrol engine generating similar power.Due to heavy year-end discounts the Ignis Zeta MT was costing me at 6.39 lakhs OTR. In this price I was getting a 1200cc 4 cylinder engine car with 15 inch Alloy Wheels, Push Button Start, Body Cladding, Blue tooth & steering control enabled music system having 6 speakers, Fog lamps, Rear-defoggers with wash wipers, Auto folding ORVM, Extended warranty, NEXA Card & Fast tag. Unbeatable deal, So ignored all other options and finalised the Ignis. From test drive to delivery of the car, NEXA dealership have given me a very nice and memorable experience.Pros:Peppy driving.Standard safety features across all variants.Very good mileage, 14-15 in city & 20-22 on highways with AC on.High ground clearance.Sufficient head and leg room.Easy ingress and outgress.Low maintenance & service cost. Many small features in Ignis such as Door handle design, adjustable head rests on all seats, 60:40 foldable rear seat, Split tail light, bigger tyres, etc are found only in costlier and premium cars.Cons:Rear design of the car is very unique but not appealing to the masses and it is the sole reason behind low sales figures of the Ignis.Body panels are weaker compared to other cars as it easily get dents from hitting of small stones on the road.Somewhat stiff suspension.Servicing at regular Maruti Dealership, so no NEXA experience after purchase. My experience with the car:My routine driving is on poor roads. I have also taken a long road trip with family in my Ignis. But no problem at all.First 3 services within a year are free from Maruti. It costs me around 3600rs. for the oil change, wheel balancing alignment and minor spares till today. From my own experience I can say that Ignis is the Best car at this price point. I recommend to buy NEXA card, as the whole cost of the card can be redeemed within a year.Extended warranty is a gimmick and may be avoided.

Ignis4.3I decided on ignis
I decided on ignis when it was least popular.2018 dec.Amt fully loaded star gaze blue.Have now driven 35k km.Except for hard rear suspension which will a thud surprising passengers, No other issues. My car had a clutch slip problem from day 1 but i got concinced that it is ok in an amt version.I retrofitted cng, Laveto.Soon after 3 yrs and mileage has been outstanding.Recently i opened up clutch box to check about the slippage and it turns out that gear box seal was leaking spreading oil on clutch plate thereby causing slippage. That was sorted and clutch plate changed and every thing is fine.Have driven twice mumbai to palakkad and numerous trips in kerala.Easy on pocket since cng expense is way more cheaper.Lack of boot space is made up by rear back seat collapsed to carry baggage, As well as fitting a large custom made organizer behind rear seats.Ignis is a very practical car underrated.Very happy especially after market laveto fitment duel fuel flexibility and great milege.

IgnisA Fusion of Compact Dynamics and Urban Elegance
Drafted to coordinate compact dynamics with civic fineness, the Maruti Ignis emerges as a disparate liberty. Its satiny crossover project seamlessly differentiates it within the hatchback demesne, feeding to those charmed by civic capers. Conning congested megacity thoroughfares becomes royal due to its modest confines, while spirited machine variants contribute to an exhilarating drive. Outdoors, the strictly drafted cabin showcases coincidental amenities and plentiful comfort for all riders. It's important to note, that high inhabitants might detect hinder room hardly constrained. The Maruti Ignis adeptly combines functionality with complication, making it a estimable preference for civic residers seeking a multifaceted, sharp vehicular accompaniment.

IgnisMaruti's Compact Crossover Lineup
Thanks to its swish appearance and useful features, the Maruti Ignis has come as a key feature of comfort and civic disquisition. Every drive is a dynamic and adaptable experience thanks to its fragile size and nimble running, and its important engine guarantees a smooth and operative interpretation on megacity thoroughfares. This engine satisfies my reason for both comfort and civic adventure because to its coincidental features and stoner friendly conveniences, which also give a useful aspect. In tours of both goddess and mileage, the Maruti Ignis has authentically come to represent civic disquisition and comfort, establishing new marks for what a true fragile agent is able of.

IgnisThe Ignis's quirky design
Guess what? I recently had the chance to drive the Maruti Ignis, and it's indeed a unique and compact car. The Ignis's quirky design and compact size are perfect for city adventures. The interior is functional, and the infotainment system is easy to use. However, I noticed that the cabin materials could be improved for a more premium feel. The engine offers good efficiency, but I wished for a bit more power during overtakes. The safety features are decent, but I expected more advanced driver assistance systems. Overall, the Maruti Ignis is a distinctive choice, but enhancing cabin materials and adding more advanced safety tech would make it even more attractive.
