Mahindra Marazzo Latest Updates
The Mahindra Marazzo has received a price increment of up to Rs 44,000 across all variants.
Features of Mahindra Marazzo : Inspired by a shark, they say. Do you see the resemblance? We do, even if faintly so. That said, there’s no denying that the Marazzo is a handsome MPV. And we’re glad Mahindra designers haven’t gone overboard in adding unnecessary styling elements to it. The smoked out headlamps work together with the toothy grille to give it a confident face. From the side, the large 17-inch alloy wheels stands out and so does the subtle sliver of chrome that underlines the massive glass area. It’s slightly quirky from the rear but the large shark fin-inspired tail lamps do well to provide some relief to the eyes. With the Marazzo, you get the sense that function was valued over form. Glad! Because, it clearly shows on the inside. The Marazzo’s wheelbase is longer than that of the Innova Crysta’s. And that’s despite the Mahindra being a full 150mm smaller. Entering and exiting the MPV is a breeze, and there’s a healthy amount of room no matter which row you’re seated in. It’s among the few cars in which you can travel with seven or eight occupants without jostling for room. On the features front, there’s what you’d expect — a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, cruise control, a 4.2-inch display in the instrument cluster, and leather seats. There’s a unique roof-mounted air-conditioning system as well, which we must say works without a hiccup. Issues include that there’s just one 12V socket in the whole car, and one USB slot for the second row to charge phones. You also don’t get the feel-good features such as auto headlamps, auto wipers or an auto-dimming IRVM. Also, we think the Marazzo could’ve done with side and curtain airbags, at least in the top-spec variant. Standard safety kit includes dual airbags, anti-lock brakes with EBD and all-round disc brakes. Notably, the Marazzo scored a 4-star safety rating in the GlobalNCAP crash test.
Mahindra Marazzo Engine : For the time being, you get a single 1.5-litre diesel engine with the Marazzo. This engine makes 123PS of power and 300Nm of torque and is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. There’s no petrol-powered Marazzo yet, neither do you get the choice of an automatic gearbox. But Mahindra has confirmed both will be made available by 2020. In our road test, the Marazzo returned 14.86kmpl in the city and 16.97kmpl on the highway. As expected, it isn’t a particularly quick car, taking a leisurely 15 seconds to reach 100kmph from a standstill.
Mahindra Marazzo Rivals : Maruti Suzuki Ertiga: In its new avatar, the Ertiga isn’t really doing anything substantially different compared to the old version. But it does everything a little bit better. And that was all that was required, wasn’t it? Why fix it if it ain’t broke?Toyota Innova Crysta: The Crysta has been a beacon of reliability. It scores well across all parameters, from design to engine refinement to the comfort of the passengers. You also get a bevy of features and the after-sales service is unparalleled too. No wonder people still prefer this luxurious people carrier to big and cumbersome SUVs.
Mahindra Marazzo Variants : The Mahindra Marazzo variants lineup includes the M2, M4, M6 and M8. With the M2, you get a sour deal: there’s no music system, reverse parking sensors or electric ORVMs. This variant makes sense only if you’re looking to add the Marazzo to your fleet of taxis. If you’re looking to buy for yourself and are on a budget, stretch for the M4 at the least. While this variant too isn’t particularly well-equipped it at least gets a music system, rear wash-wipe, rear defogger, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and electrically-adjustable ORVMs. With the M6, Mahindra is throwing in quite a lot of goodies. In isolation, it seems like a value offering. But compare the price premium to the M4 and you’d think twice before justifying that expense. It gets 16-inch alloy wheels, projector headlamps, a 4.2-inch TFT display in the instrument cluster, and a touchscreen infotainment system paired with a 6-speaker music system. In the top-spec M8 variant, you get bigger 17-inch alloy wheels, a better touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, cruise control and leatherette upholstery.

Expert's Conclusion
The Mahindra Marazzo has carved out a nice niche for itself, right between the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Toyota Innova Crysta. It’s a pukka 7- /8-seater and has all the goodies a modern family would require. Sure, it isn’t a driver’s delight, but that’s hardly something that’s expected from an MPV anyway!

Comfortable and attractive
The look of Mahindra Marazzo is very aggressive and bold and is a seven or eight seater MUV. The ground clearance is very decent and the interior is very stylish and cool also the features are very attractive. The storage space is very good and the second row is very decent with good amount of space and amazing comfort but the plastic material is not good. The third row is also good and the brakes are very good but gives noise and the engine torque is not that good.

An all rounder MPV
Mahindra Marazzo is different in the MPV segment with the combination of style, comfort, and practicality. The Marazo offers an airy cabin with the adjustable seat arrangements that can take into account 7 to 8 passengers based on the variants. The ergonomically designed seats are able to provide enough support and comfort so that everybody on board can have a nice and comfortable ride. In addition to this, the cabin is equipped with touchscreen infotainment system, climate control and many storage pockets. It has a 1.5liters diesel engine which provides a perfect balance between performance and economy.

Big and perfect for big family
The Mahindra Marazzo which is their spacious and versatile MPV ( Multi – Purpose Vehicle ) meant to provide the comfort of its passengers and convenience to the parents who need to lug around their children and household stuff, at least to get this task over and done with. With its unique and harmonious texture, it stands out in its own category among other cars by displaying a driven, modern, and trendy look. The interior of the Marazzo is roomy and seats almost seven individuals thanks to the flexible seating arrangement. Moreover, the seats can be repositioned to make way for eight people using the specific seats, depending on the trim. The Marazzo comes with a variety of amenities, including touchscreen display, rear air-con outlets, and several well placed storage units making the whole driving experience pleasant. An engine of such type, however, might satisfy some users’ needs to a sufficient extent, but a powerful one maybe required when the vehicle is fully loaded. Besides, despite of a good fuel economy for the class, the Marazzo is not the most efficient of all CFM vehicles. However, the Mahindra Marazzo also offers the demanding factor of space, comfort and pragmatism as a competitive advantage for families whose work is to look for a vehicle which is not only reliable but also versatile for their daily routine.

engine might benefit from greater power
Hello there, My name is Devika, and I'm eager to tell you about my experience with the Mahindra Marazzo. My family's comfy getaway car has been this capacious MPV. Its spacious interior and adaptable seats meet a variety of demands. However, the Marazzo's engine might benefit from greater power, particularly during overtakes. The ride comfort and handling of the MPV are outstanding, albeit the suspension could need more tuning. The safety elements are extensive; however the inclusion of more modern safety technologies would improve the whole experience. The design of the Marazzo is utilitarian, but contemporary accents like a touch screen infotainment system may improve it. The Mahindra Marazzo is a good option if you want a family-friendly MPV with room for improvement.

- Selecting between the Maruti Ertiga, Maruti XL6 and Mahindra Marazzo would depend on certain factors such as your preference of the brand, usage, cabin space, fuel type, etc. The Mahindra Marazzo has carved out a nice niche for itself, right between the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Toyota Innova Crysta. It’s a pukka 7- /8-seater and has all the goodies a modern family would require. Sure, it isn’t a driver’s delight, but that’s hardly something that’s expected from an MPV anyway. Whereas, the Ertiga is visually identical to the BS4 model and is wider and longer than its predecessor. It also has 15-inch alloy wheels and LED elements in the taillamps. Interior features include a Smartplay Studio infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a color TFT multi-information display, steering-mounted audio controls, and automatic climate control. So, if you want a comfortable ride for 7 people then you can enjoy it with the reliable people mover Maruti Suzuki Ertiga with a good spacious cabin. On the other hand, Maruti has done enough with the XL6 to distinguish it from the Ertiga but a few more wow features and a better safety package would have made it an irresistible package. As it stands it's a good option for a large family looking for one car that could do it all. However, a few more wow features and a better safety package would have made the XL6 an irresistible package. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test drive before making the final decision. - The 1.5-litre engine would manage this full-sized MUV when it’s fully loaded. we’re quite happy to say that in town and on the highway, loaded up with seven passengers, it faced no problems at all. In town, it’s completely at ease even when fully loaded, with the 300Nm of torque cleanly pulling anything we could throw at it at city speeds. The only place where you need to start working the gearbox, using 2nd and 3rd gear more, is when climbing a ghat. Thankfully, the six-speed gearbox is smooth in operation, and driving up slopes was never a problem with the shorter lower ratios giving the engine good drive. This new D15 engine is also quite a refined mill that stays fairly quiet at idle, though it does make its presence audibly felt when revs rise. Its power delivery is delightful - there’s a friendly, linear spread of torque and barely any spike in the drive when the turbo kicks in. The suspension is another area where Mahindra seems to have really done its homework. The Marazzo rides over practically any road really comfortably. Bumps are taken care of with ease and with practically no complaint, in the form of bangs or thuds, from the wheel wells. The only complaint we had was a slight vibration felt through the floorboards caused by smaller imperfections in the road. Even when fully loaded, the Marazzo’s cabin remained nicely composed with barely any side-to-side or up-and-down motion, something that long ladder-frame vehicles like its predecessor, the Xylo, tended to suffer from. Moreover, for a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test drive. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
