The only place where you need to start working the gearbox, using 2nd and 3rd gear more, is when climbing a ghat. Thankfully, the six-speed gearbox is smooth in operation, and driving up slopes was never a problem with the shorter lower ratios giving the engine good drive. This new D15 engine is also quite a refined mill that stays fairly quiet at idle, though it does make its presence audibly felt when revs rise. Its power delivery is delightful - there’s a friendly, linear spread of torque and barely any spike in the drive when the turbo kicks in. The suspension is another area where Mahindra seems to have really done its homework. The Marazzo rides over practically any road really comfortably. Bumps are taken care of with ease and with practically no complaint, in the form of bangs or thuds, from the wheel wells. The only complaint we had was a slight vibration felt through the floorboards caused by smaller imperfections in the road. Even when fully loaded, the Marazzo’s cabin remained nicely composed with barely any side-to-side or up-and-down motion, something that long ladder-frame vehicles like its predecessor, the Xylo, tended to suffer from. I am using a Marazzo M6 (eight seater) since last 2 years. Even though I don't use every day I have been driving it in Hill areas, Highways and cities. I found the performance very good and also the comfort of driving..I use to drive a swift earlier. When my driver is driving I find the rear seat very spacious like executive class of airline with an excellent AC. When I have too much luggage, I close the seat row behind the rear row to stack the baggage.. After experiencing 20000 km on my M8 , I can tell you that if you drive between 80-100 kmph , you get the best mileage of 16 to 17 kmpl. Sometimes you will be surprised to see 18kmpl also. If you drive at 120 -130 kmph which is quite frequent because of the good aerodynamics of the car, you will get 12-14 kmpl. So the key is drive safe, drive slow at 80 to 100..and be happy with the car performance.

The 1.5-litre engine offers reasonable performance. Power and torque figures aren't great (123PS/300Nm) for a vehicle that's this big. When we drove it, we found it good enough for city use. On highway, with full passenger load, performance may feel a bit slow. Looks wise, I think it's unique. There are influences obviously, I see a bit of the Ford C-Max and the Renault Lodgy in there. :)

ISOFIX child seat anchor points are a relatively recent phenomenon, which is not available in Hexa and Innova crysta. In terms of dimension like length, width, tall and wheelbase Tata Hexa and innova crysta offer higher size than Marazzo. If price is a major factor in your buying journey then I will recommend Marazzo over innova crysta.
