Honda’s Thailand subsidiary, AP Honda, has launched the Rebel 500 Bobber Supreme Edition in the country at 235,300 Baht (approximately Rs 5.45 lakh). This makes it almost Rs 29,000 dearer than the standard model sold there. So what’s special about this variant?

Honda’s official accessories brand in Thailand, H2C, has created this 100-units-only limited-edition motorcycle. It is loaded with both functional and cosmetic add-ons. This includes a crash guard, flatter blacked out handlebar for a more aggressive riding stance, bikini headlight fairing, gaitered front, and radiator cover. It also gets a more premium engine casing, brake master cylinder cap with an integrated helmet lock, footboards, and more premium tyre valve caps. You also have the option to further customise the motorcycle with touring-oriented bits like saddle stays, soft panniers, throw-over-type leather saddlebags and a tail rack.

Apart from these, the motorcycle remains unchanged mechanically. It is powered by a 471cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that churns out 45.5PS at 8500rpm and 44.6Nm at 6000rpm. The engine works in conjunction with a 6-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch. The motorcycle employs a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorber. Brakes include discs on both ends with dual-channel ABS.
