Updated Bajaj Pulsar NS125 Spotted At Dealership Before Official Launch

After the launch of the new Pulsar 125, it looks like Bajaj is gearing up to introduce the updated version of the Pulsar NS125. The motorcycle has been spotted at a dealership ahead of its official launch with a few cosmetic and feature updates. Here's everything we know so far:

What’s New?

The biggest change on the updated Pulsar NS125 is the addition of a new LCD console, similar to the one seen on the updated Pulsar 125 and Pulsar N160 S. 

The motorcycle also features revised graphics, giving it a sportier look. However, the bodywork, muscular fuel tank extensions and overall silhouette remain the same. This suggests that Bajaj is focusing on a feature-led update rather than a major overhaul.

New Variants Lineup Expected

The motorcycle spotted at the dealership is expected to be the base variant of the upcoming Bajaj bike. Bajaj could introduce the motorcycle in multiple trims, a similar strategy to the new Pulsar 125, which is available with both LCD and TFT console variants.

The entry-level version of the NS125 is expected to feature the LCD console, while the higher-spec variant will likely get a TFT unit.

Interestingly, the spotted motorcycle does not appear to feature ABS rings on either wheel, suggesting that it could be the non-ABS variant. The top-spec model, meanwhile, is expected to come equipped with single-channel ABS.

Mechanically, the updated NS125 is likely to remain unchanged. It will continue to draw power from a 124.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 12 PS and 11 Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension and the braking setup is also expected to remain the same.

Expected Price & Launch Timeline

While Bajaj is yet to announce the official launch date and pricing of the updated Pulsar NS125. But, considering that the motorcycle has already started arriving at dealerships, we expect its launch to take place in the coming weeks.

The current Pulsar NS125 is priced from Rs 99,622 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and the updated bike will command a slight premium, particularly for the higher-spec variant with the TFT console.

While the new console and graphics should help keep the NS125 relevant in the segment, an engine upgrade will make the package more compelling, considering the new Pulsar 125 engine makes slightly more power and torque than the older 125cc engine of the baby NS.
