This week we witnessed some very interesting launches including a cruiser, an adventure bike, an adventure scooter and two street naked motorcycles. Apart from launches, there were some very important developments in the two-wheeler industry too. Here's a brief overview of what happened this week:
Honda launched the 2025 Rebel 500 in India. It’s Honda’s second motorcycle in the 500cc platform in India, after the NX500. It’s also Honda’s only cruiser in India.
Honda launched the X-ADV 750 in India, which is also the only proper adventure scooter in the world. It gets a unique design language and a dual-clutch transmission - something you usually see on cars. Oh, and it’s as practical as the next-door Activa too!
Kawasaki India launched the Versys-X 300. Technically, the brand has ‘re-launched’ the bike with the latest emission norms compliance. Interestingly, it has witnessed a huge price drop thanks to heavy localisation.
Honda has launched the CB1000 Hornet SP and CB750 Hornet in India. Both come with competitive price tags, and the Hornet 1000 is the most affordable litre-class naked bike in India.
Bajaj has sanctioned an EUR 800 million loan to KTM for stabilizing the brand’s tumultuous finances. Additionally, it also aims to become a majority owner in KTM by increasing its stake on the Austrian brand. Here’s what all of this mean.
