Unlike the recent sightings in India, where the Himalayan 450 was draped in heavy camouflage, this test mule has been spotted uncamouflaged and nearly finished. There isn’t anything new that we haven’t seen before but the test mule we see now has minimal pre-production bits like exposed wires.

The launch of this motorcycle is imminent and in all likelihood will arrive later this year. We all hope its new 450cc liquid-cooled motor churns out enough power and torque to stick it to the likes of the KTM 390 Adventure, while carrying an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 2.8 lakh, pitting it squarely against the affordable 390 Adventure X.
