Kawasaki has launched the 2027 Z1100 in India, and if you were expecting any updates for the new model year, we have some disappointing news. The big naked bike remains exactly the same as before, with the only change being the model year moving from 2026 to 2027.

Launched in India in November 2025, the Z1100 is the successor to the legendary Z1000. While the latter earned a reputation as one of Kawasaki’s most iconic naked motorcycles, its successor continues its legacy with a powerful engine and similar aggressive styling.

2027 Kawasaki Z1100: What's New?

Absolutely nothing. The design remains unchanged, with the same sharp bodywork, muscular proportions and Sugomi styling. The colour scheme is identical too, so there is little to distinguish the 2027 model from its predecessor.

Mechanically, the Z1100 continues with the same 1,099cc, inline-four engine, along with identical underpinnings, hardware and software. In short, Kawasaki has carried forward the entire package without making a single update.

Price And Verdict

The 2027 Kawasaki Z1100 is priced at Rs 12,79,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the same as the previous model-year bike. That remains a rather enticing price for a bonkers, litre-class naked motorcycle with a four-cylinder engine.

However, we would have liked Kawasaki to bring the Z1100 SE variant to India. It gets Brembo braking hardware and upgraded suspension components, offering a more premium hardware package than the standard motorcycle.
