Now gets a 4-valve engine with a six-speed gearbox
New 5-inch TFT display
Produces more power than the standard N250
Bajaj has launched the N250SS, at Rs 1,59,406 (ex-showroom Delhi). It sits above the standard N250. The new Pulsar gets a 4-valve engine and new features; here is everything you need to know:

The major update the bike gets over the N250 2V is the 4-valve engine. This has allowed it to make 0.5 PS and 0.5 Nm more – 25 PS and 22 Nm. The addition of the 6th gear should give the bike an even more relaxed highway cruising without feeling too stressed.

It gets a new 5-inch TFT display, which looks minimal and purposeful. The console enables connectivity features such as Bluetooth connectivity, call/SMS alerts and Google Maps mirroring, which is an added convenience that lets you navigate without the need to mount your phone. With that, it gets an updated switchgear, making navigation through the display easier. Also, it gets a USB Type-C charger on the fuel tank, which allows you to charge your devices on the go.
The bike gets a ride-by-wire throttle, which enables riding modes that alter the power output according to the mode selected. Also, it gets a quickshifter, which which will make spirited riding even more fun
Safety equipment includes dual-channel ABS as standard, a panic brake alert and a dedicated hazard light switch for added safety.

The N250SS doesn’t look far too different from the N250 2V; it gets the same aggressive fascia with a projector headlight and twin DRLs. It gets a muscular tank with curvy extensions that go well with the bike’s overall silhouette.
The bike comes in 4 unique shades: Atlantic Blue, Brooklyn Black, Fiery Red Orange and Pearl Metallic White, and these colours look similar to the ones on the recently launched N160 SS.

The bike has the same underpinnings to the standard N250. It rolls on 17-inch wheels at both ends. It is suspended on an inverted fork; the rear gets a monoshock. Braking hardware includes a 300 mm disc brake at the front and a 240 mm rear disc. Also, the bike gets adjustable clutch and front brake levers, which riders can set according to their preference.
With this, the N250SS becomes one of the most value-for-money 250cc bikes in India. The updated bike is priced at a premium of Rs 14,136 over its 2-valve variant, making the added hardware and features a compelling option for people looking to buy a feature-rich motorcycle in this price range.
