Set to replace the current Continental GT Cup race bike in next year’s edition
Production version with and without fairing expected
Royal Enfield has now brought the race-spec Continental GT-R 750 to India, fresh off its global unveiling at EICMA 2025. It has been unveiled at Royal Enfield's Motoverse 2025 event in Goa. It will replace the GT 650 race bike in the next season.

This close-to-racing version of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 wears a proper retro-racer outfit: bikini fairing, very low clip-ons with properly rear set footpegs, twin front discs with Bybre callipers (yes!), compact, free-flowing dual exhausts (take that, emission norms!) and a sleek tail section. The bike also gets a Showa telescopic fork and a twin shock absorber setup.
It packs an enlarged version of RE’s air/oil-cooled twin, expected to produce around 55PS and 60Nm. For reference, the current 648cc mill makes 47PS and 52Nm. Royal Enfield has practically confirmed that the production version is coming. We reckon it will come in two guises: one mimicking the race bike’s half-fairing for that authentic café-racer stance, while another without - for a classic and clean look. Expect the no-fairing version to closely resemble today’s Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, but the twin front discs will be a dead giveaway of its “I like big bore and I cannot lie” intentions.

Both have been spotted testing on Indian roads, hinting that development is in full swing. It feels like the natural evolution of the GT 650 ethos, only sharper, faster and more purpose-built (please RE, make it go on a diet). The race bike gets a twin-pod instrument console, and it looks like there is an LCD inset on each pod.
Expect the production spec bike to come with a round TFT console like we have seen on the spy shots. A global release is expected sometime in 2026 (At EICMA, in November 2026), followed by an India launch probably by early 2027. Pricing is likely to hover around the Rs 3.8-3.9 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. This will likely debut the 750cc platform, with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 750 hot on its tail, with more to follow (read: Himalayan 750 also confirmed).
