Royal Enfield unveils Continental GT-R 750 race bike at EICMA 2025
Will use a new 750cc parallel-twin engine
A road-going version will also follow
Royal Enfield has just set the stage on fire at EICMA 2025 with the unveil of the Continental GT-R 750 race bike complete with a bikini fairing, giving pure retro-racer vibes. It’s sleeker, sharper, and sportier – a more furious evolution of the already fast Royal Enfield Continental GT 650.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 750 is powered by an enlarged version of Royal Enfield’s 648cc twin, now displacing around 750cc, hopefully producing about 55PS and 60Nm. For reference, the current 650 makes 47PS and 52Nm. The engine is still air/oil-cooled but will have a stronger punch. The six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch will likely carry over.
The dual exhausts are more compact, and of course – much free-er flowing as it will not have to bother about pesky emissions. The clip-on handlebars also appear much more aggressive than the stock bike - rightly so if you have to eke out the most at corners and straights. With dual front discs, adjustable suspension, adjustable brake and clutch levers – this one’s clearly built to make enthusiasts drool. We thought it would get an inverted fork, but looks like it still makes do with a conventional unit.

Royal Enfield might unveil the production-spec version of this bike, as well as the Royal Enfield Interceptor 750 at next year’s EICMA, followed by their launch in 2027. The Interceptor 750 will mostly stay true to its easy-going charm, with a relaxed and upright riding position, making it ideal for long rides and daily use alike.
With an expected price of around Rs 3.8 lakh for the Interceptor and Rs 3.9 lakh for the Continental (both ex-showroom), the 750s should be the sweet spot for riders wanting performance and practicality in one stylish package. With the Interceptor 750 promising everyday versatility, and the GT 750 channeling vintage racing spirit. The thump just got bigger, louder, and a whole lot more exciting.
