2026 Royal Enfield GT Cup Registrations Open With New GT-R750

Royal Enfield has officially opened registrations for the 2026 edition of the Continental GT Cup, and this year’s championship comes with a serious upgrade. Riders in the Professional category will now race aboard the all-new Royal Enfield Continental GT-R750, marking the biggest change in the series so far.

The Continental GT Cup has become one of India’s most accessible racing championships, and the 2026 season will continue with two categories: Professional and Amateur.

GT-R750 Takes Centre Stage

The big talking point, though, is the new Royal Enfield GT-R750 race bike, which was first showcased at the 2025 EICMA show. While Royal Enfield is yet to reveal complete technical specifications, the motorcycle is expected to deliver noticeably more performance than the outgoing GT-R650 race machine. And a grid full of 750cc parallel-twin race bikes around Kari Motor Speedway should make for some seriously entertaining racing.

Selection Process And Race Calendar

Registrations are open till June 1, 2026, on Royal Enfield’s official GT Cup website. Zonal selections will take place across Guwahati, Delhi NCR, Pune and Bengaluru, before the final rider selection round at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore.

The Amateur category remains open to riders with a valid two-wheeler licence and no prior racing championship experience, while the Professional category is reserved for racers holding a valid FMSCI licence.

The championship itself will feature three race rounds at Kari Motor Speedway across August, September and November 2026. Royal Enfield will also conduct dedicated track schools for shortlisted riders, led by veteran racer Aspi Bhathena along with the PRN Motorsports crew.
