Royal Enfield just dropped one of the biggest teasers of EICMA 2025 – quite literally. Hiding under a semi-revealed cover, a Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 test mule was seen at the brand’s booth, offering enthusiasts a tantalizing glimpse at what could become the company’s most ambitious adventure tourer yet.
Displayed on wooden shipping pallets decorated with the iconic Ladakh prayer flags, and flanked by Himalayan imagery, the setup perfectly captured the spirit of the machine — ready for the mountains, built for the world. The prototype showcased the unmistakable parallel-twin engine, and some very…err Himalayan-sized proportions.

While the full design remains under wraps, key details like the twin-disc front setup, wire-spoke wheels (tubeless tyres FTW!), and Royal Enfield branding on the crankcase confirms this isn’t just an experiment — it’s a production-bound evolution of the legacy.
Underneath, the Himalayan 750 is expected to use an all-new 750cc parallel-twin engine, likely an evolution of the brand’s 650cc platform, tuned for stronger mid-range performance — perfect for long-haul touring. Earlier spy shots have also hinted at a TFT display (taken straight off the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450), all-LED lighting, and an inverted fork. The ergonomics appear more relaxed and road-focused than the 450’s more off-road-friendly setup.

Royal Enfield seems to be aiming squarely at the middleweight adventure-tourer space, taking on the Kawasaki Versys 650, Triumph Tiger Sport 660, Honda XL750 Transalp, Aprilia Tuareg 660, and Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE. Yet, with an expected price tag around Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom) when it debuts in late 2026, the Himalayan 750 would undercut its rivals massively – making it one of the most anticipated launches in the segment.
