The 2025 KTM 390 Duke has been launched at Rs 2.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi, same as before)
Features a new black colour scheme, cruise control and Crawl Function
Will go up against the Aprilia Tuono 457 & Yamaha MT-03
KTM India has launched the 2025 390 Duke at a price of Rs 2,95,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi, same as the 2024 model). As part of the 2025 update, the bike has undergone three major changes. The first of which is the addition of cruise control, a feature which we saw on the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure and the second is the Crawl Feature, which is a low rpm assist function. Along with these, the bike now gets a beautiful black colour scheme called Ebony Black. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what’s new.
KTM has brought the cruise control feature from the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure to the 390 Duke. Despite being a streetfighter with minimal wind protection, the 2025 KTM 390 Duke still has excellent highway manners, and now with the addition of cruise control, munching miles should get all the more easy.

As the system is the same as the one on the 390 Adventure, KTM has given the new Duke 390 a revised left handside switchgear. The rider can engage the system with the press of a dedicated cruise control button, and then set/adjust the speed using a button on the left side of the horn. The system can be disengaged by pressing the brakes. Overall, it is quite easy to use and we really enjoyed riding with it on the KTM 390 Adventure.
The crawl feature is another interesting bit which has been taken from the KTM 390 Adventure. This feature is a low-rpm assist which allows riders to ride the bike at slower speeds with just clutch modulation without having to worry about engine stalling. It also makes it easier for the rider to ride in stop-and-go city traffic.
KTM has also offered a new colour scheme, called Ebony Black as part of the 2025 update. The new colour scheme is a triple tone finish with a grey, black and orange combo. It features a black colour on the tank extension with an orange highlight on the ‘390’ graphic. Along with this, the bike also gets a ‘Duke’ stickering at the edge of the tank extension, in a white finish. The wheels are finished in black as well.

Overall, this colour scheme looks quite subtle and would be perfect for those who are looking for a darker shade. It is not as flashy as the Electronic Orange or the Atlantic Blue colour schemes (both of which continue to be available).
Other than the addition of cruise control, the crawl feature and the new colour scheme, the KTM 390 Duke remains unchanged. The bike is still powered by the same 398.63cc, liquid-cooled single cylinder engine which outputs 46PS at 8500rpm and 39Nm at 6500rpm.
The bike is suspended on a WP Apex inverted fork, with rebound and compression adjustability, and a WP Apex monoshock with preload and rebound adjustability. The bike rolls on 17-inch alloys with Metzeler Sportec M5 tyres. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm front and 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.

The bike gets a 5-inch TFT console, and riding aids such as cornering traction control, launch control, cornering ABS among others. At the price of Rs 2,95,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), the KTM 390 Duke undercuts its competition by a huge margin. For perspective, the bike is Rs 1 lakh cheaper than the Aprilia Tuono 457 and Rs 54,900 cheaper than the Yamaha MT-03.
What’s interesting is that KTM has continued with the same pricing as the 2024 model, which itself recently received a massive cut of Rs 18,000. Now with the addition of new features and a much-sought after blacked-out colour scheme, the Duke 390 is the best value for money performance bike in the middleweight segment in India.
