The Classic 350 finally gets a slip and assist clutch
Now available with a USB Type-C fast charger
These updates are available only with the dual-channel ABS models
Royal Enfield has launched the updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 in India. The bike now comes with additional features which should make it much more convenient to ride.

After the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350, the brand has finally given its best-selling bike: the Classic 350 a slip-and-assist clutch. This should make the clutch much lighter than before, resulting in smoother and more effortless gear shifting. Additionally, the motorcycle also gets a built-in USB Type-C fast charging port under clutch lever, to charge your phone or any other device on the move.

These updates are limited to all the dual channel variants of the Classic 350 for which the pricing starts at Rs 1,94,668 (ex-showroom, Chennai). While the pricing for the single channel ABS variant starts at Rs 1,87,434 (ex-showroom). Along with this, the bike is now available in 7 colour options in total: Redditch Red, Madras Red, Medallion Bronze, Commando Sand, Gun Grey, Stealth Black, Emerald, while the Halcyon Black and the Jodhpur Blue colour options have been discontinued.

Other than these updates, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged, and is still powered by the tried and tested 349cc J-series engine, which produces 20.48 PS and 27 Nm. The underpinnings also remain untouched, as the bike still rides on a 19-inch wheels front, and an 18-inch rear wheel (spoke or alloy). Braking duties are handled by a 300mm disc at the front and a 270mm disc at the rear. Along with this, the motorcycle gets a seat height of 805mm and a ground clearance of 170mm which is ready to tackle our not-so-good roads.
