Q. What are the drawback of Nexon petrol version as compare of Baleno?

First You decide what would be the usage of the car. If You are going to use the car in City then buy the Baleno-easy to drive, Maruti service is good, very good resale value, feature loaded, awesome looks. it would an ideal choices if You are going to use it for your daily commutes in the City, it handles better on the highways, easy to park in tight parking spaces BLit if are going to use the car on bad roads then definitely the Nexon is a better pick-more ground clearance, better view of the roads, drive mode, big tyres so it will tackle All the roads pretty well. But, If You are going to use it in the City, on the highways , and of the roads as well, the the pick will be TATA NEXON. It may not be as convenient as the Baleno in the City but it is not bad either. The gear box of the Nexon makes it very drivable in the City(You can put Nexon in the Srd great and drive All day in the City) . Also the Nexon feels very planted on the highways (maybe not as good as baleno). Think it's unfair to compare these two vehicles. Baleno is after all a hatchback while the Nexon is a compact SUV. And they don't compete each other either. Tata doesn't have a mid level luxury hatchback in their product portfolio yet, but there are rumours that they'll have one in 2019, which as of now is called as the XB451 concept.From an enthusiast point of view, I think both of these cars have good characteristics to rule their respective segments. Nexon comes with the in-house built Revotron and the 1.5L diesel with considerable amount of power and the ruggedness that you can expect from an SUV. Though there are still questions about the after market service quality and resale values etc. especially when speaking about Tata Motors. Hopefully, they'll sort that out with their own version of premium outlets.Baleno on the other hand comes with three different configurations, the 1.2L petrol, 1.3L diesel and the 1.0L boostejet, the most powerful of which is the latter.Interior spaces and design are the modern and of equal quality for both the vehicles. Though one place the Baleno might have an edge now is the Automatic gearbox option. But I think even we'll an automatic gearbox in the Nexon as well sooner.If you really want to buy either of these, my suggestion will be to test drive both and take home the one that you felt is better for yourself.So the better pick is definitely the TATA NEXON
