Q. Is zdi amt model worth buying - Vitara Brezza?

Do not buy the amt model , I made that mistake . Buy sometime with a proper automatic box like a torque converter or cvt . The transaxle overheating warning like comes on as soon as you hit bumper to bumper traffic , it’s not suitable for crawling in traffic and you really can’t avoid that in India . Pros - Small size makes it maneuverable , ergonomics are good , mileage is decent and maintenance cost is low, ground clearance and approach/departure angle is good . Cons -The amt box is bad , headlight wobbles , short wheelbase means highway manners are not as good as sedans and I have a hunch that my rear suspension won’t last long as it’s creaking after 17000 kms

The AMT on the Vitara is extremely capable and unlike some other Maruti AMTs, this performs exceptionally well on both highway and city. Of course, you will miss the manual variant surge once the turbo kicks in but the day-to-day grind will become extremely relaxing.

Yes but i would suggest that you go for the top end zdi+.. the features that are offered are worth the additional cost
