4.3I got the car in November
I got the car in November 2021 and it's already pree booked took the delivery on Diwali. It's a topline 1.00 tsi manual and has driven it continuously till now and racked up about 21184 km. The ownership till now has been majorly uneventful and here is a list of pros and cons after a thorough drive:- 1. Brilliant engine - the engine seems to have settled down nicely and it performs brilliantly. Never will you feel that there is a lack of power. The refinement is also top class wherein I find myself looking at the tachometer to ensure the engine's switch is on/off. 2. Ergonomics - simply put, The ergonomics are spot on. The seating position is very comfortable. Everything falls right into your hand and you don't need to move about a lot. The seats themselves are wide and comfortable. It provides ventilated seats in the topline which is helpful in the summer of rajasthan.3.Handling - it handles very well for being a crossover. Much better than the Creta and seltos.4.Build quality - thankfully, Vw hasn't cut corners in build quality. It's right up there with what you expect from german cars. Safe and solid 5.Driving experience:- you always feel it's fun to drive and on highways, you feel it's all in your control.6.Average is 17 km if you drove above 100 and it's increased to 19 to 21 if you drove on 80-90. There is only one issue I faced the driver-side power window up-down issue which is somehow fixed by Volkswagen. Overall it's fun to drive a car.

4.3Based on my 5 month experience
Based on my 5 month experience with the taigun i am convinced that it is a sturdy and refined product. Some of my top features : a) strong body and door (closes with a reassuring thud) b) elegant design, But simple, Both inside and outside c) the video screen is optimal in size and flushed into the dash making it compact yet useful d) the instrument cluster gives all the necessary infoe) the drive is comfortable unless when the road is very bumpy.F) features like the start/ stop are the best and helps cut of the engine while not in use and can help save fuel g) the sports mode gives an extra zip while over taking and in open roads h) ground clearance is good i) the music system, Though unbranded, Is good and has a punch the areas of improvement:a) mileage is average and drops significantly in city drivingb) materials used could have been better in interiorsc) ac is not the best and has to be set at lower temperatures to be effective d) side cams could have been useful.

Taigun highline manual variant -
Taigun highline manual variant - i have completed driving around 600kms and while i find the vehicle very sturdy and true to a vw image, A little caution for intending buyers - this vehicle is overpriced for the features and comforts it offers, Compared to equally good versions from competitors.Add to that the stealthy and unethical manner in which the company is cheating it's buyers by taking away specified features under the excuse of the fine print mentioned in their sales norms where the company grants upon itself the liberty of withdrawing features without specifically informing the confirmed buyer and after having taken full payment.Intending buyers beware.Apart from being overpriced the vehicle has so far performed as expected.

Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Taigun
- The Volkswagen Taigun gets two turbo-petrol engine options: a 115PS/178Nm 1-liter and a 150PS/250Nm 1.5-liter. Transmission options include a standard 6-speed manual, an optional 6-speed torque converter (for the 1-liter engine), and a 7-speed DSG (1.5-liter motor). There’s no diesel engine on offer. The 1-liter TSI has a claimed mileage of 18.10kmpl (MT) and 16.44kmpl (AT), while the 1.5-liter TSI returns a claimed 18.47kmpl (MT) and 17.88 (AT). The Taigun is 4,221mm long, 1,760mm wide, 1,612mm tall, and has a 2,651mm wheelbase.
- Both cars are best in their own forte, The Maruti Suzuki Brezza maintenance the strong fundamentals of space, practicality, and comfort but now gets a stronger tech package, more safety features, and a better automatic transmission. But, it should’ve offered superior interior quality and more exciting drive options. On the other hand, Volkswagen Taigun looks just like a baby VW SUV and a classy one at that. In terms of build, it does feel a tad better than its key rival, the Creta, but falls short in fit and finish levels compared to the Polo and Vento. However, the features and safety equipment on offer are definitely a step up. The quality of features is excellent and the way the Taigun GT drives has to be the most impressive aspect of this entire package.
