Maruti Celerio is a good hatchback with comfortable ride quality and good handling traits. The suspension is soft enough to iron out road imperfections but the light car that it is, allows Maruti to keep the tune stiff enough for the Celerio to feel composed at high speeds. The Celerio is a predictable handler too, fun to chuck around corners when you pick up the pace but the tyres could have offered more grip. Moreover, light steering and good visibility out of the cabin coupled with nearly straight lined sides make for some precision driving when you are weaving through traffic. For a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test drive. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
Here, according to your need and requirements, you may choose to go with the Hyundai Santro. The Santro packs in a lot, is simple and hassle-free to drive and ticks all the right boxes, leaving very little to be desired. The little hatchback is perfectly suited to cruising around in the city all day and won’t even feel out of place on that weekend trip to the nearby hill station either. We strongly suggest you look past the lower variants and set your sights on the top-spec Asta variant for better features. Moreover, we'd recommend taking a test drive of both the car for a better insight into the performance, comfort, and compatibility. Follow the link for dealership details - Car Showrooms.
Both Maruti Celerio and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios are good hatchbacks. Maruti Celerio could be a good option if you are looking for a car with a tried and tested engine, good with city duties and backed by Maruti service support. However, the car is due for a update and the second-gen Celerio is expected to launch soon. On the other hand, the Grand i10 Nios offers brilliant features, spacious cabin and comfortable ride quality. Yes, the new Grand i10 may cost a bit more, but the Nios delivers value too. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. 1. Celerio is the best choice, as it has good body balance compared to Wagon R 2. Celerio has good stability which is most important, but Wagon R lacks stability due to more height. 3.Celerio interior looks spacious, but Wagon R exterior looks huge like a school van. Finally its your choice, go for petrol version. In CNG version, you may get good mileage, but lacks more power
Depends on your usage celario stands high in stability and mileage.Wagon r had got good space but initial pick up is low. so celerio cng is a better choice. I agree to the view petrol wagon r is better than a petrol celario. Are we off topic?
You should try wagonR but wagonR being new you might not have model option in cng as much as you have in celerio. You can check with your requirements and pick your car. 1.0 is same for bothWagonR is alot more spacious then celerio
Celerio petronas and cng is great in city.but fails in highway and hilly areas.wagonr has two engine options 2 ang 1.2 litres and a cng good highway performance with instability on turns.so city go for celario highways wagonr more power seekers also can go for wagon r thanks
Since wagon r is not updated in engine and gearbox celerio is better in overall. in case of safety celerio is better. but comfort wise both are distinct in seating.. because wagon r comes with bench seats at rear while celerio with 40:60 split seats
If you go for Celerio you can take upto 5 or 6 Peoples but wagon R you cant take more than 5 members... Room space is good in celerio and also fuel mileage of Wagon R is 17-19 kpl but Celerio is 19-21kpl........
You please wait for some more months you will get 1.2 Ltr Celerio which is better than Wagon R 1.2 Ltr otherwise if you need in urgency then go for Celerio 1.0 ZXi or Zxi Optional Manual gear only.....
Hi, celerio is my companion mostly to commute in uber and Ola.Most prefer celerio for OLA cab.yes its per fect low torque ride in city is excellent. Most ste CNGs so lack boot. But for one or two it is enough.pros -low engine nice, good a/crystal clear glasses, good leg space.cons-poor plastictaxi celerio lack safety features. At least they could have given central locking. No stereo. cng lacks power.,but better than i10and Xents which is not factory fitted.overall good for daily commute ,not many issues, with full tank CNGit can run 300kms!can change to petrol mode on the go.I have been on one diesel which ran 80000 (discontinued now)in excellent condition.Service-matuti nowadays ignores customers ad their volume is so high,oops.Thanks. ,
Swift , since its bigger and better than celerio in many ways, but if you want an easy to go and simple to drive, less stress, then just go for celerio with AGS gear box, hands down. but that automatic gear box needs some getting used to.
In case if you like both these models streamline your decision in terms of budget . If budget is also not a constraint streamline your decision in terms of size of the car because Swift is bigger than Celerio and accommodating three rear passengers for long highway trips won’t be a hassle . Other decision making criterias are performance , safety features, comfort & convenience.
The version i have doesnt has airbags and a straight forward answer would be No.However on other aspects, I have drove this car for quite some long road trips. Nagpur - Hyderabad - srisailam - chennai - Banglore - Murideshwar- shimoga falls - Pune - Nagpur. Nagpur - Mumbai - Mount Abu - Dwarka - Ahemdabad - Nashik - Nagpur. Nagpur - Goa. Nagpur - Pune - Nagpur. Its Comfortable, no issues. I generally don't drive more than 80 TO 100kmper hour, but absence of safery airbags is not good... i am not aware about the crash reports...Has a Good mileage19 to 21 around highwayAutomatic is always a better option for long drives and city driveLittle bit of pickup issues are there given its power, especially on speedbreakers, city -- where you need to shift gears continuously and that is really tiringBut otherwise, its a good car !!Luggage space is good at back.Seats are comfortable
I have driven celerio from mumbai to ahmedabad thats 520kms non stop. No issues with the car. Be light footed and around 100km/hr you should not face any issues with it. As far as safety is concern the celerio is having a very light and fragile body shell. It wont make you feel that you are driving any tank like built car. However it gets the work done.
I have driven on express way at a speed exceeding 100 kph and found no issues on the contrary the drive was easy and mikeage was around 25-28.
