Ola de not talk about cooling in lunch event and when I request to call back in ola website and ask these questions, he tell thet is air coold mean when you drive air was passing through battery and motor and cool them. But i don't think these type of cooling work on motor. Motor need air coold via fan or liquid cool. Compared to ather, ather use fan to cool motor even after it has smaller motor then motor. Please ask these questions to ola becouse india is has hot citys, ola heat in bengaluru cold conditions then in summer ola does not drive about 1 km to 2 km. Ola is not transparant about his electric scooter.
If company would have taken this feedback, aaj yea din dekhna nahi padta :(
Ola Electric S1 gets a fixed battery. As for charging, first up, there’s the conventional home charger that will be provided with the scooter. It requires no additional installation; customers can simply plug it into a regular wall socket overnight (the PR doesn’t mention whether it is 5A or 15A, but we assume it is the former) for a complete charge. Next up, there will be charging ports across public places like parking lots, IT parks, colleges, malls, and the likes. These will be of the fast-charging type. Ola claims its scooter can be charged from 0-50 percent in just 18 minutes, which will be enough for a 75km ride. On paper, this should translate to a claimed range of 150km, which is brilliant. However, it remains to be seen at what speeds this figure is achieved.
The Ola S1 Electric takes 4hrs and 48 minutes to charge fully while the S1 Pro can be charged in 6 hours and 30 minutes using the 750W portable charger. With the fast charger, an 18 minute charge can give the e-scooter a range of 75km. The motor is paired to a 2.98kWh (S1) and 3.97kWh (S1 Pro) battery packs capable of a claimed range of 121km and 181km respectively. Moreover, the units of electricity required will depend on the source current/voltage, charging time, and specifications of the charger. Also, the Ola Electric Scooter is offered in two variants: S1 STD and S1 Pro. Both models get a single non-removable 2.98kWh (S1) and 3.97kWh (S1 Pro) battery pack.
Ola has delayed the booking date for its S1 and S1 Pro e-scooters, again! The portal was supposed to go live on November 1 but has now been scheduled for December 16, 2021. However, you can still reserve your slot for Rs 499 on the company’s official website. Apart from the delay in the second batch booking, Ola hasn’t commenced the deliveries of the first lot either. Moreover, since the company has no dealership model as of now, it’s practically impossible for potential buyers to get a test ride. Stay tuned for future updates.Read more:- Ola Electric Postpones Sales For Its E-scooter

The Ola S1 and the S1 Pro are priced at Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,29,999. Moreover, the Department of Heavy Industries has announced new incentives for EVs in India as part of the new Fame II subsidy. The Centre plans on promoting all EVs including plug-in hybrids by increasing subsidies from the earlier Rs 10,000 per kWh to Rs 15,000 per kWh. This will help close the gap between ICE-powered two-wheelers and electrics. Stay tuned for further updates. On the other hand, for the test ride, we would suggest you get in touch with the brand directly.
