Renault Kiger vs Volkswagen Tiguan

I recently bought the Renault Kiger and took it on a weekend trip from Mumbai to Goa. Its sporty design caught everyone's eye and the 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine gave a surprisingly powerful and quick performance. The ride was comfortable and the 405 liter boot space accommodated all our luggage effortlessly.What let me down was the fuel efficiency, I got around 12-14 km/l in the city which is not great for everyday commute. Also The rear seat space could be more generous specially for anyone taller.

When it comes to space, comfort and luxury, the Renault Kiger is hands down, one of the best renault models. It is perfect for 5-6 people, better space and room as compared to the other renault models. The drive train is FWD and the most convenient part is that it gives options in transmission. One can choose manual or automatic as per their desire. Its turbocharged engine is powerful. It is very expensive going and is also suitable for daily commute.

Beginning from a decent price range in India, the Renault Kiger is a strength defining car model built to beat the rest. Its powerful engine delivers great power and performance. The maintenance of this car seeks a bit of attention, time and cost but it is definitely worthy of all the appreciation. It is available in many variants and colours. My experience at the showroom as well as the buying process was also quite good and i would recommend this to all.

After owning my Renault Kiger for several months I am pretty pleased overall but with a few reservations. The interior while spacious features some hard plastics that detract from the otherwise modern feel. The 405 liter boot space is sufficient but if you are looking at a family vacation it might feel a bit cramped with all the luggage. Also a lack in service centers compared to rivals like Maruti or Hyundai means more planning for maintenance. Overall it is a decent buy if you are not too choosy about the finer details.

My family members seats very Comfortably because of smooth and good quality seating area.

Last month, I took the Volkswagen Tiguan for a trip to Rajasthan and it turned out to be a solid companion. The 2.0L TSI engine performed exceptionally well. The 6.3 inches of ground clearance handled rough roads effortlessly.However, the Tiguan is not perfect. On the downside, the fuel efficiency comes around 12 kmpl, which affects my pocket specially on the long drives between fuel stations. Additionally, the in car wi-fi connectivity was inconsistent which was disappointing during our remote area drives.I noticed that Toyota Fortuner offers more reliable connectivity features.

Well built infotainment system and accessible safety system, the Volkswagen Tiguan gives a feel of a spacious car but is comfortable even in its compact structure. It has enough room and exterior looks are classy and decent. Seating capacity is enough for my family. My friend recently bought this and gave his feedback saying his experience was too good, features are accessible and drive quality was very smooth.

Excellent car for an enthusiast.Slick transmission and effortless power delivery.Very silent coupled with a taut suspension makes it a winner at the price.

The powerful engine offers great torque that delivers a great performance. The seat is quite comfortable. I would surely recommend this to all based on my personal experience with this model, as i have also went on two trips with it hassle free.

Having driven the Volkswagen Tiguan for over six months I have grown quite fond of this robust SUV. It is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine that packs a punch on the road providing 190 hp which is more than sufficient for both city traffic and highway cruising. The all wheel drive system adds to the car stability and handling making it a safe choice under various driving conditions. On the downside the Tiguan is on the pricier side especially when we consider the maintenance and service costs in India.
