The Renault Kiger gets its first maj
r update for 2025, but is it enough? On the surface, it’s a subtle facelift with a sharper front grille, new DRLs, fresh alloys, and tweaks at the rear. Inside, the cabin feels better put together with a cleaner two-tone theme, contrast stitching, and ventilated front seats. Renault has also improved cabin insulation for a quieter drive. Feature upgrades include auto headlamps & wipers, a 360-degree camera, cruise control, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and an Arkamys 3D sound system. Safety has taken a leap too, with 6 airbags now standard across all variants, plus ESP, hill start assist, TPMS, and ISOFIX mounts. Under the hood, things remain unchanged with the tried-and-tested 1.0L NA petrol (72PS/96Nm) and the peppy 1.0L turbo petrol (100PS/152–160Nm), paired with manual, AMT, or CVT gearboxes. Performance is decent, with Renault claiming 11s for 0–100 km/h.
