- If we talk about Royal Enfield Meteor, its new J Platform motor is a clear step change from the UCE, making the Meteor 350 a far more well-rounded motorcycle than any of the previous 350s. It’s not just the engine, the gearbox feels more grown up too and the bike handles itself and its weight rather well. But at the same time, the Meteor isn’t breaking new ground either. RE has managed to produce a capable and commendable motorcycle but it has done so in an orthodox fashion, ironing out the biggest chinks in the Thunderbird’s armour and making small, incremental gains in the remaining areas. A plush ride and a bit more poke from the engine would’ve made the Meteor 350 a far more characterful and engaging motorcycle, the likes of which we’ve never seen from a single-cylinder RE before. On the other hand, The Mahindra Mojo is a honest attempt and does great justice to its touring dynamics nature completely. The refined motor, comfortable riding dynamics, supple ride quality and loaded parts bin makes it a great motorcycle for long-distance riding. However, Mahindra Two Wheelers doesn’t have the dealer network spread and the trust as its rival brands command. You may compare both bikes accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
- Mahindra Mojo could be a good option if you are looking for a fine tourer with premium underpinnings like upside-down forks and Pirelli tyres. The newest model gets conventional forks and MRF tyres but that does not hamper the Mojo’s touring credentials much. The riding position is upright and the seat is comfortable enough for long jaunts. Despite its oddball looks, the Mojo has proven to be a capable tourer. However, if you’re looking for the best bang for your buck, nothing eclipses the Dominar 400 in the sub-2 lakh rupee price bracket. - Questions does make a good point. But to add on Mojo first gen is good anyday compared to Dominor. The current ones it's in your answer already.

The bike the first generation in itself is worth in terms of riding comfort, Long distance, Highway runs at 130+ easily and cheap maintenance. Its a myth of people not trusting the quality of a machine and brand.Agree sales wasn't upto the mark and mahindra not hearing the cries of customers to give an upgrade other than cosmetic changes.I myself am not a fan of bs6 engine wise and cosmetic wise. The poet and nm for the first gen is mind blowing.Happy to own it still and proud owner.

This beast is really costly, Being an Indian company mahindra should have considered the amount. The bike is fantastic in riding. I got to hear services are pathetic, Well it is quite hard for me to say as it is not yet done. Well the one who was cleaning bike was worst in doing that, So it might be possible for servicing as well. Long ride is awesome. Quality of bike are premium.
